The schooner bit takes me back,in the north east in the 60's and 70's a bottle of Newcastle Brown Ale was always served with a schooner it was said to release the gas and increase the flavour.Being a Mackem I never drank it so I dont know if that worked.Hope you enjoy the rest of your time in Oz--Enjoy Life! Love Ya TrevX
koko koala I was wondering if it would be possible to bring me a koala bear home, as you know I love animals and I think I could give one a really good home, I would call him koko and take im everywhere with me, as they sleep so much I would push him in a pram.

Meep the 2nd Hi you two! how fab you both look so tanned and slim!! very envious, Matt you may not remember that you spent lots of time in my austin a40 with road runner written along the side, I used to ferry you around Farnworth and Bolton in it it was turquoise blue and we had such fun then it was always referred to as meep meep, chris used to love it!!!The only problem was when we went up hills the car used to fill with exhaust fumes, I'm guessing your's did not!!!The mini moke takes Dad back to the 60's and we are sure you had a great time travelling around the island, the photos are great!! Love the twin suits (careful) you will have matching jumpers soon.. and glad you are doing lots of walking, (even with the reference to being aged 50)!!great to hear from you and to know you are having a great time!! keep the blogs coming we sooooo look forward to them. Martha's Rain Yard Hope Martha dried out, bet you wont leave the windows open again.
Question, how long would it take to boil the egg of a Casowarie?
How big would the egg cup be? How many pieces of toast and how many people would it feed? Right that is the end of the questions. Any answers would be appreciated. It is so good to see you still having a great time with new experiences around every corner. That drive down the East Coast will be fab with some fantastic views and look forward to seeing the next blog along with the great stories that the pictures tell.
Take care our intrepid travellers remember "wants and needs".
All our love and take care of each other and give our regards to Martha.
Do You Remember The year is 2042 Matt and Carla are playing trivial pursuit with their grandchildren, the question is "what is a casssowary" Carla turns to Matt and says "do you remember that time in the rain forest in Australia.....rain on tin roofs.....metal cups.....those were the days .....etc."
The camper was a brill idea just hope the weather is less wet for the rest of the journey, which I am sure it will be!
Take care as always------ Trev.
Carla you didn't have to ring NHS direct again after Matt had put the bread in his ears did you? Glad you guys are enjoying it despite the rain. Speak to you and SEE you soon!!!
gooooo oz!! I have spirit, I have flair, sadly I'm not over there!!
I am in your pic, think it's the eyes??
weird no, because there is a girl who lives on furzton who me and dan have said looks like C, but I had not seen her before you left.
Poor graham, at first I thought, oh you have changed you are embracing animals and may have pets and then I realised you eat them, not such a good trait in a pet owner!
