This is me sat in Sydney! Brilliant! We'd spent almost twenty hours on a plane sat in Economy, with two hours off in the middle in Hong Kong (time for a spacious toilet stop, teeth clean and freshen up!) Looking back, it didn't really seem that long and although I didn't sleep at all on the second flight to Sydney, the whole time went really quickly. I managed to clock up 5 movies, 3 airplane meals, 2 Bacon Sandwiches and 3 big bottles of water. Sometimes it definitely works out not to plan things out too much as by the time we left the UK, we hadn't even really thought about accommodation at the other end, and as it turned out this was a good move! Where to begin! Hopefully this will be the start of an interesting read, but I'm not promising anything! I finished my last flight at Virgin on 24th September 2009. It was a brilliant trip with Ed to Los Angeles. I spent my last days off in Brighton and in between drinking and eating out, managed to pack up two suitcases with belongings I don't want to throw away. Met mum and dad hungover on the train from London to Leeds (me, not them!) They'd just got back from their east coast USA and Canada holiday so thought it would be a nicer journey (their M&S bag of sandwiches, crisps and chocolate helped!)
