Jumper Fatty....I will let you know I paid 6 hard earned pounds for that gansey, pure cashmere it is, the old Lady on the stall promised me that....
ps....is that you sitting in the background or big buddha?
Best place so far? Wow - the photos are fantastic! Hong Kong looks really impressive. You two are having a ball. Don't worry Brian - as long as you cut me in on Karen's earnings in the red light district I'll let you off!!!! Loved the blog as usual.
.Great vid! Great blog as usual and the video was a brilliant idea - very clear aswell. Don't think i will put Vietnam on my holiday wish list! Glad you're having a better time in HK!
Happy New Year to you too! Really enjoying the blogs even though we speak to you via webcam. Photos are great aswell and so glad you are enjoying yourselves. Spare a thought for us as both the weather and traffic on M1 have been appalling since you left. COME BACK NOW!!!!!
Hi guys sorry to see you're still struggling to decide whether to take it easy or to relax................................................some choice! Photo's great ...cat/cream..more like adams apple! No luck with finding you a lady boy on ebay either Brian, but loads of cushions might be cheaper in Thailand though!
love the photos guys, especially the monkey! sounds like you are having a fab time, what are your plans for christmas? is there anything that you miss from home? (apart from me, obviously!)
p.s. did you know that if you type 'thai silk cushion' into ebay 301 items turn up! not surprising then that i've struggled to find yours! if you want us to fund your trip, make it easier!!!!!:)
Are you really out there? Hi guys, bloggy thing is starting to look very profesional........must be Karen's doing! Love the photo of the balsa wood landing craft, did you actually manage to ride onto it Brian or was this just wishful thinking. Look forward to the next episode. Kindest Regardss to you both Mike
Rate my Daryl Mike, you could be right. I have had my suspisions since arrival, you know the feeling when your being watched, eyes everywhere. We moved to another place today, one that has internet connection, and guess what, a gold statue of a rather strange ugly fellow appeared outside, it could be him.
How did the ACE thing go, are you all qualified now, gee I miss that so much.....lol
Be good
Brian
Hi Admin Pleased you like the blog, its coming on fine now that I know what I'm doing. Everything is going smoothly out here and weathr could not be better. Thailand truly is a beautiful place and well worth the long journey.
Still no regrtes, just think I could be back there with you lot in the cold stressing....lol
Hope your all ok and say hi to everyone for me
me
Daryl's just popped out.............! Not that I'm of a suspicious nature but I think you may be being stalked, both your inscrutible tour guide Rowland and the enigmatic Pukka sound remotely familiar.........and then there was the 'lady' in Dubai '............Daryl's been taking exotic dance lessons during his tea breaks and practicing sitting cross legged and looking serene, he's also trying to buy some gold body paint on e~bay. Might be an idea to keep an eye out for portly gold statues in your vacinity too !!!!
Sounds idylic so far although, as you've already discovered, you are going to come across the real 'non-brochured' world at each and every turn. Best wishes to you both.......stay lucky..............keep safe.
Hello Ian Nice to see nothing has changed except Mikes shirt, the bad news is, I am now the proud owner of the very same type and have not had it off my back....lol
Will keep you all posted on the blogg asap, have fun and ttfn
Brian
Well Fancy That...... Well.....you can take the Boy out of the estate, but you can't take the "country" estate out of the Boy!
Afternoon Campers! The weather is fine - hope you are lousy!!
Your Brysonesque ramblings have just brightened up a D-r-e-a-r-y sunday OT dayshift - bloody funny stuff you Krazy Kats!!
Daryl says "Hgmumph" or "hi" if he wasn't eating his usual buffalo pie! Sarge is sitting next to me now, and thank god, he has stopped wearing his "wedding clothes" - must be a bit nippy in Calvo? there's only so much shabba ranks a man can take!
On a personal note - my name is really Ian....... love you both lots n lots..................TTFN.
Dont be a Stranger now..............
Tuk Tuk Hi Mike
Surprised at Scott, anything involving a saddle and riding he is normally well up for it. Not found a decent enough Tuk Tuk for you yet, Rueben has requested a one ready fitted with a ex works Farrari engine, so will keep my eyes out. However better news on the Daryl situation, I can pick up an Elephant for 250 Baht, let me know and I will get my friend Samu to start walking it over to you.
Dont work too hard and keep in touch
Brian
Glad to hear you both arrived safe and sound, Scott won't sanction a mounted division for Cumbria, can't get a saddle to fit Daryl...........can you send me the details of Tuk-Tuk I'll try that instead! Stay in touch, take care of Karen we're looking forward to her coming back............lol, good luck and enjoy.
Good start! Good blog and good start to tour. How could you not know which hotel you were staying at????? Won't worry re the moped - knew you'd do something like that anyway! Well, you got there, got let in and we haven't yet heard that you have lost anything. Well done!
you must be so excited that it's finally started! enjoyed reading that, looking forward to the rest of the years' diary! meanwhile will keep you posted with any plans for oz! hope to see you there, all our love, faye and james:)
