Almost home Been enjoying all of your daily reports. Glad you had the energy and dedication to write them up. Looking forward to seeing you back at Victoria. I'm sure your blogs on your daily commutes to work won't be nearly as interesting :)
Elvis You were so close. And you did not go to Memphis. You missed out on some amazing fantastic history in music in the Deep South. Just wondering if you are heading in our direction. We would love to see you only for an evening. Ride safe. Xo
Love the Videos Looks like you are having fun . . . . I'm not sure I would want to be that close to alligators . . You're getting close to N'awlins (New Orleans), the French Quarter is a great place for jazz, hickory coffee and hot beignets . . .
Louisiana Hi Sorry. Was loving it till you got there. Not a hope for this girl. Sorry. Yuck. The only thing cute is the cabin. But I would go on the air boat. That would be cool. Enjoy your beer, the stories and the ride tomorrow. Sounds very old and interesting. Loves. Xo
Hello Hi guys. Hope you are feeling better. Who would think you both would hurt your backs while on holidays. Go figure. Anyways. Relax and get better. Hope your enjoying the area. Can't wait to hear more we really want to come there. Xo. Tell me more. Tell me more.
Texas Soooooo. We are excited to here more. Now we are thinking next holiday maybe in south Texas. River walks and beaches look amazing. Looking forward to hearing more about the area. Sounds amazing. Waiting for next blog. Sounds like an amazing place. Xo
I love San Antonio Enjoy San Antonio, I love it, and not just because that was where my great niece was born. The Riverwalk and the Alamo, while full of tourists, is beautiful. If you get a chance, between San Antonio & New Braunfels there is the Natural Bridge Caverns - they are the largest commercial caverns in the US and are spectacular and a quaint little town called Gruene with the oldest dance hall in Texas. The dance sequence with John Travolta in Michael was filmed there and there is an old Gristmill that is now a restaurant with great food.
Tuscon Looks Amazing Love the cacti and the Pima Aviation Museum looks amazing. I've been to the Naval Aviation Museum, which is also amazing, but I think I need to add Tuscon & the Pima museum to my list of places to go. Everything here is great, the bills are getting paid and the cheques are making there way to the bank, so keep having fun and don't hurry home!!!!
Bike trip #2 here we come. Last year, we rode over 20,000 kms on our Suzuki VStrom 650 motorbikes from Victoria, BC Canada to St. John's NL Canada and back.
This summer, we have no itinerary other than to head south from Victoria, BC Canada. No left or right turns required. In search of somewhere warm. To visit some of the U.S. that we weren't able to see last year.
We are still on the VStroms, still wearing the same gear, still excited as ever about riding.
Follow us along on this journey as we discover new scenery, new friends, new things about ourselves, and make new memories.
