Well, well, well, I've managed to drop off the face of this blog, mainly because I entirely forgotten about it, but my adventures now have lead me the West Coast of Canada, living in Vancouver. I haven't been on any epic-ly long trips, but that's a good change considering how the last 2 years I haven't been 'home' for more than 4 months at a time, also, I've entered the work force, which explains the changes in travelling plans. Still, enjoy this blog!

Okay, so I'm a firm believer in recycling and seeing how I already managed to start a travel blog last year with China, I'll continue on with my adventures in Malawi.
I'm a 4th year Civil Engineering student, exploring the world once more, this time, in South Eastern Africa, in the country: Malawi. I'm volunteering with Engineers Without Borders and a partner organization, currently being identified as we speak (or I type). I'm volunteering for 4 months (May - Sept) to work with a partner organization to build their capacity on an organizational level to help them deliver their services.

Last summer, I spent 10 weeks learning Chinese in Hong Kong, backpacking through Beijing, Inner Mongolia, Guilin, Yangshuo and trekking the Tiger Leaping Gorge in the Yunnan Province. I've managed to cut off my blogs as soon as I left Beijing, but the memories are still fresh and if you're interested in hearing some stories, email me and I'll get back to you.
