Capuchin Monkeys Forgot to say those capuchin monkeys are so mischievous!!! I'd be trying to sunbath by the hotel pool and they would be running around me... just couldn't relax for one second lol
Capuchin Monkeys Thanks for sharing your experience and for volunteering to monitor and rescuing wildlife. I imagine you visited Manuel Antonio National Park. I enjoyed my visit to Quepos and Costa Rica, as it is so enriched with wildlife :D
I'd love to see Jerusalem Jerusalem looks awesome to me. I'd love to walk around randomly and explore the city. Old and well preserved tend to have a lot of exciting hidden parts and interesting nooks and crannies. You typically only find them if you have company by someone with great local knowledge or if you stumble upon them yourself. /Ake
Love the beautiful towns on the Greek islands I visited two Greek islands some years ago and I totally loved the towns there. They are so beautiful. I'd love to spend a vacation just island hopping in Greece. I know there are similar towns in Italy as well where there is a very popular hiking trail. I think it's called Cinque Terre. That hike I really want to do. /Åke
Tour leaders... Once I was a member of a ski club and lead several trips to various resorts in Europe. We had a firm rule...if you were not on time to catch the bus, you were left behind. Even then, the last person in the bus had to treat everyone to drinks. No one was late. Would this work for cruise tours?
I like that idea, have to suggest it to the next tour guide :) The tours usually have a tight schedule, and this particular tour was a full day tour with loads of stops so the tour guide had to be very strict with the timings. Which he did mention at the beginning of the tour. But i like the one that the last person has to get a round of drinks ;)
I guess it could have been worse I guess there are worse places to get stuck at than in a cruise ship. But not knowing what is going to happen next and when and how you would get home must have been horrible. Glad you made it home eventually and that the experience hasn't put you off from keep on working on cruise ships. /Ake
I love rhinos We have been to two or three safaris ourselves and I totally agree with you that it is a wonderful experience. I love the rhinos. It's sad that they are hunted so fiercely. We are also very fond of zebras. They don't look real. They look like a painted horse. /Ake

Crusing during covid lockdowns... You were one of several other Travelbloggers who were stuck at sea. You seemed to have the best deal. I am looking forward to the cruise industry opens up again as I want to sail the Caribbean in Dec 2022, visiting as many islands as I can.
It was an interesting experience. I actually just got back on a cruise ship to start work again. The last year I spent in Germany it was good to have some time to catch up with the family. But I am glad to be back now. Hope you get to go again soon :) and the Caribbean is amazing. Will update with my island travels soon :)
World traveler working on a cruise ship. This job allows me to see the world while working.
I lived and worked in several different country, love learning about new cultures and discovering new places. In my free time I volunteer, cook when I get the chance, go to the movies, hang out with friends...
I am described as a bit clumps, spontaneous and fun to be around ?
I tend to get myself in all sorts of random situations and my friends tell me very often that I should write my adventures down. So here we go....... full info
