The border crossing went prettysmoothly and we found transport to Vientiane (thecapital) no problem.The change from Thailand to Laos was immediatlyapparent. We stayed over night in Kuala Lumpur and the bus trip to and from the hotel was a major event.Any way we finally got here to Chiang Mai on Wednesdayat about 2pm and found a place to stay without toomuch hassle.
