Yeah, food at the villa sucks, but out in town it's GREAT! So, at least we get ONE good meal a week! I hear that previous semsters had their food homemade here at the villa, but ours is catered, so I think that's why it's not very good. The weather is much better! It's really warm during the day (So nice that we usually don't need a sweat shirt or anything) and then at night, it's just a little chilly. I'm glad it's not HOT yet though, because then we get to SMELL all of the sweaty Italians lol. Love you too! And miss you guys! :)
Aunt Jean,
Thanks! I've been trying to take as many pictures as possible!! And my mom keeps asking for more lol! Hope things are well in Illinois! :) Love you!

Wish We Were There! Katie,
Wow, what a week! The pictures are great. It all Looks beautiful and the weather appears to be better. Sorry to hear about the food---Horse OH MY! I hope you find some of that wonderful Italian Food Everyone always talks about. Maybe you could ask some of the locals where the best food may be. Miss You, All For Now, Mom
hey momma! thanks for "blobbing." The art side of Art History is probably my favorite at this point. Isn't that funny since I HATED Art Appreciation last semester? The quiz for Italian was all in Italian, yes. The first part was like a spelling test. He read a paragraph and we had to write it out. Then there were questions about the paragraph (so that was a comprehension section). Then, there was conjugating verbs and a conversation section and a singular and plural section. I think that's all that there was. As for the new office, you're movin on up huh? Now you're leawood right? Haha. And I just talked with Mase on facebook, but he's been talking to me a lot lately which is nice. I think I talk to him more now then I did when I was at school. St. Francis book is REALLY dry...but I'm hoping that it might get better. I'm only at the point in his life where he is told to "rebuild the church." And at first he takes that literally, and rebuilds the church in Assissi. I hope you made it into the office and got Mariah off to school on time since you were talking to me this morning! Love you and miss you too! And how could I NOT get cultured? I think that'd be impossible lol.
Blobbing you back The Art History Class sounds great! I am sure you will do just fine on the Italian Test. Is the whole test written in Italian? Way to go St. Ann. I wish I could see all the wonderful art they have in Italy. I am sorry I haven't commented yet, but I just finished the BBAll/Cheer Banquet stuff and now I am moving from one office location to another on 151th and Nall. Did you talk to Mason on the phone or webcam? Was he surprised to hear from you? Ok go study your St. Francis. I will catch up with you this weekend!
We Love and Miss you Girl. Go get cultered! Love, Mom
villa morghen I'm staying in a villa. It's kind of like a bed and breakfast. There are a bunch of rooms with their own bathrooms, so it's not quite like a hostel. And we have tv, but it's all in Italian, EXCEPT for MTV lol. I LOVE the camera!!! And I'm pretty impressed with the pictures it takes too! I just wish it was sunnier so that I could get some even better pictures! Love you too hun! -kate
KATIE! Ah.. this is so good! I will definitely be checking here every so often. Your stories make me miss Florence so much. Say hi to the Villa for me! And enjoy the sunsets - they are the best in the world!! Sounds like you guys are having a great time so far!!!
