Hello how are you? Hope you are both well, loved reading about your travels.........so far, actually think you are both very brave and your blogging is so funny I am going to follow you all the way now. To think Joe the further I got with you ... was Kelvingrove Park for a picnic but then how long ago was that, too many years to even think about it. Spoke to your mum today and we are going for lunch in the New Year although it will probably hard to get a date from her because she is such a busy busy woman. It was brilliant to speak to her. Hope you both have an absolutely brilliant Christmas and enjoy your comforts for the day or two you will have them. Lots of Love to you both. Lesley (oh and Tony says Hail Hail) xxxx

Hi,
I have been searching everywhere for information about the current situation and feasibility of taking the Friendship Highway from Lhasa to Kathmandu. I cannot find any recent information about whether this route is an option or even if buses still run. It sounds like you must have a great deal of knowledge on the subject; I would greatly appreciate it if you would possibly be able to answer some of the questions I have about how to make this trip possible. If so, please email me at dangerousdave@aol.com.
Thank you very much,
David Korn
Congratulations.... Hi Guys
Just read this - sounds like I would have giving up :-) But great job...
Just read the other blogs from our trip as well... No bad comments, but couldn't help laughing about the comment you made after the first day... "They all seem nice but we might be singing an other tune at day 28" :-) ha ha ha....
By the way the pool table in the middle of nowhere... What a great photo...
I just subscribed on here - gonna be great to follow you around the world.
Take care...
Yes, great journey, enjoy it!-tony from www.tibetctrip.com Hi guests,
Glad to read your stories above, and glad to view nice photos you have taken. Enjoy your Tibet tour. Tony from www.tibetCtrip.com,
Tibetan people Do you find there are some children around the Barkhor Street and Potala Palace, some of them will ask you for money with the excuse of worship.
At long last we are at the start of our travels around the world. We decided to hop on the bandwagon and buy our round the world ticket, dump all our stuff in various places (and there was a LOT of it!) and set off with our homes on our backs..........Please leave us messages if you like - even messages expressing extreme jealousy are welcomed!! :):):)... full info
