Thinking of you Thanks Phil,......Erin is one lucky young lady! What a day to remember.
Noticed the daffodils poking thru the snow. What a Spring it will be with all that water. Can you bring a bit of that home with you please?? Water, that is!! Nothing to report from here. Weather cooling down, cold mornings now, but lovely days - mid 20's.
Flukey Internet Hi folks - internet may not be too good for a few days - will see what happens. Have a few photos from Gathering and have ordered DVDs. Lovely sessions.
Love to all in what may be a sad week as dad is laid to rest.
P & J
Hi Phil & Jenny,
How's everything going - haven't heard from you for a while. Out of sight - out of mind !!!!! Looking forward to seeing some more photos. We are having beautiful weather here at the moment - I should send you some photos, it would make you both homesick !!!
Take care driving, and enjoy yourselves. Our sympathy to you both on the passing of your dad, but really it was a blessing. I haven't seen your Mum yet, but I believe she is handling it ok. Love to you both, Glenys & Sam & family. xxxx
Crazy Time Hi folks - thanks for message - have had one heck of a time trying to get internet and free time. Have managed to start a mass upload and the photos are not edited but will be later. Internet access will be hard to come by in next day or so and expect a busy photo session from next Tuesday in Scotland.
Thanks for message about Mum - we rang her the other day from our mobiles which was not too bad.
Hi P & J Is 23rd Mch. your last entry re photos? Are you just slack or are we not getting them? Enjoying so far, but it's a long time between drinks for we poor old souls stuck with the mundane back home!!
Oh, just in case you are wondering, ...no, we haven't had any snow here, just a drop or two of 'rain', if you are lucky enough to have your nose in the air at the right time to catch it!!
Hugs to both,.......J & R
Slack Jack Hi folks - we have had a bit of a slack time with photos - have put up a few for the week. Don't get out much when with family and it is too jolly cold anyway. Hope you enjoyed the latest blog and email which is still best way to communicate. Love and hugs
P&J (Snow-White)
SO glad to hear from you Seems spring hasn't sprung yet! It looks SO cold & wet. Hope it clears up for you. We had our air con on today, 36 deg! Packing up for Glenlock, Stephen & Bek & Co. arriving tomorrow DV. Forecast to be a pleasant Easter, in 20s. Off to last Seminar soon. God's speed & enjoy your Easter gathering. Love DJ
Spring and Glenlock Thanks for comment - we are taking notes for you for your trip. Snow should be gone by then. Have a lovely Easter camp at Glenlock, we'll be thinking of you all. Many caravaners here have stayed at home because of snow and some have been snowbound. Amazed to see a Ford Fiesta towing a van the other day.
Take care - love P & J
England trip Hi Phil & Jenny, Well did u expect that much snow when u left our shores? Following your trip has been very interesting, wish I was with u on your travels !!!! Keep the photos and messages coming. I hope I am doing the right thing using this space to write to u.. not used to this Travel Blog business !! We are off to Kristy and Lees tonight for dinner. So that will be nice. Special effort finished yesterday - very good.
Drive carefully in the snow, and enjoy your time with your family. Keep in touch. Keep warm, Sam & glenys
Keep it up and enjoy,...but watch the calories!!
So sorry to let you know, but a difficult time for us. Our Gordon was rushed to hosptl. the weekend you left Adelaide. He has a brain tumour. Operation was last night, our time, and he is now awake, but it is 'the aggressive sort', and too early to know where too from here. Understand that they were going to take out 'what they can'...which doesn't relieve one very much. He was home on a Sat. got dizzy, couldn't put words together and then, looking at his daughter, couldn't remember her name. Beth & Karen raced him to the hosptl., and the rest is history, as they say. It is on the left side, sitting on speech & memory.
Rang Di. John is doing v.well re the heart part, but has a bubble on the lung (they think is infection) which they can't budge. Looks like he'll have to go back to be 'drained'. Also, meds. are playing up on his eyes so can't see too well, but they say that will improve.
Well,......Rob got his new tooth fitted thismorning,..looks great......oh, and we had a few drops of rain last night!! So that's the 'bright' side!!!!
God's speed,.....enjoy every minute. Thanks for Pics. great!! Hugs, J & R
Your Message Aha - you are not silly - I just had not seen replies to comments on blog - good old tooth fairy - hope it makes him turn into Prince Charming for you, oh oh, he already was your Prince Charming. Thanks for keeping in touch.
Where's the girl? What is interesting about pieces of tin on wheels? Thought at least to see Jen sitting on the bonnet of one of them,...showing a little leg, blonde hair flowing in the breeze!!
Actually, just sending this back to see if it works!! If so, then I know all is well for your trip. ps. You asked us to come along for the ride,...we are awaiting tickets!! Hugs,..hope all is going to plan!! J. & R.
I am old and my wife is younger. We love visiting family and friends and visiting places of interest as well as having the odd steam train trip, or coach tour, perhaps a boat ride. We see this as being a great way to keep in touch with our global family and global friends from Facebook.
