Thanks Phil and Jenny for reminding us just how beautiful the UK is Greetings in Christ. A tad jealous but someone has to do it. Now that our free accommodation at "Putney Palace" is closed we will probably need to rely on photographic reminders! Trusting you have a wonderful time and quality catch up with family. Safe travels. Love from us both.
Trip to UK Thanks bro Adrian. This is our second trip this year. The first was a bit of an emergency when Belinda had a C-section birth. It was freezing then, but at least we are in double figures. Met at Watford a week ago and Ormskirk yesterday. Catch up with a sister near Chester tomorrow God Willing. A little over a week to go here and then Israel and Jordan with Alan Dennes tour.
Trusting that you are both well.
Much love in our hope,
Phil (& Jenny)
Parramatta Hi Phil, Leon & I did this ferry trip in 2012 while on a 5 day holiday to Sydney. We got off at Parramatta and got a shuttle to the Caravan and Camping Show at Rosehill Racecourse. I had no idea the ferry ended in such a narrow mangrove lined creek! It was a tranquil trip and we were fortunate to have a stunning autumn day of sunshine & blue skies. Glad you enjoyed it also. Hope you are both well. Regards, Regina
Now in Honkers (Honk Kong) We love you folk as well and we are missing everyone. Have left the ship and soon fly back to Sydney.
More photos and blogs as we now have great internet.
Love and regards to all from HK.

Pitts We missed you again!!! Glad you are having a wonderful time, enjoying your blogs. Home news. Working bee Saturday at the hall and it looks so nice, it was really nice today to come to a shiny hall. We had the lovely news that today Jonathan and Vanessa have officially joined Kersbrook too. The Lunn's are leaving for Perth Thursday for the baptism of Abigail Hunter (grand daughter) Auntie Tina home sick today. She has a sore hip and couldn't walk too good. Meg had carpel tunnel op last week and has her hand all bandaged up. Bonnie is back now after her stressful trip to Perth to sort out her Mum into a nursing home. Pitts - well they are just the same. (They are a bit boring actually!!) Dad and Mum have gone to Robs for a couple of days. So it is quiet here. I thought it was us that was noisy!! It is low twenties and a shower or two of rain here or there. So that will be good for your garden while you are away. Look after yourselves. It sounds like you are having fun. We are enjoying all the photos. They look pretty professional to me! Lv Pitts xx
Thanks for the experience! Sounds like you are really getting the hang of it now. Just watched a couple of videos on QMII.
Noticed she carries 40,000 bottles of wine! Well, when she leaves Port, anyway.
We watched one of her being built, commentary by the Designer. He started by drawing a line on a page, representing the longest she could be built to be able to Dock at certain Ports.
Incredible. Reckon you won't want to come back to 'reality'!!! 30oC here today. Been lovely weather though, on the whole. Hugs, J & R
Reality Thanks for being in our "bag" for this trip and hope that you are both on the mend. Hope to catch up on our return to Adelaide and show you where some of the 20,000 scones have decided to lodge. LOVE P & J
Now in Honkers (Honk Kong) Well well the tooting has begun. It actually started in Shanghai, also called smell high. Honking horns was amusing and traffic lights may as well have been decorations.
Sad to know the ship has left without us and we really missed you guys. You would have loved it.
Time for some sleep and internet is great.
Love

Hi Phil and Jenny,
Finally been able to have some time and read your blog so far. All sounds wonderful! Hopefully neither of you have been sea sick? Love the pics so far, nothing like a sunrise over the water. Hope you have been able to find your way around without too much trouble....the meals sounds delicious...always room for three courses :)
Save travels and look forward to hearing more about your trip.
God bless, much love, Wendy xxoo
time to reflect Hi Wendy - thanks for comment and hope that you enjoyed "being in our bag". This was so much easier than Facebook and photos took at least ten times quicker to load, hence no much on Facebook. It was our first cruise and God Willing we hope not the last. We learnt two major things from this trip and they will be ever with us. 1) the earth needs the ocean water to maintain its existence and the spiritual side is that we need the water of the word for our existence. That was a HUGE lesson. 2) the difference between rich and poor is enormous. To see the poverty in Borneo, Shanghai and Hong Kong, kept bringing echoes of Psa 72 when the poor and needy shall be far better off than now. I suppose there was a third point and it relates to how pagan worship is alive and active but provides no hope in world which is crying out for salvation. It is good to have a holiday, but we have learned that we are a privileged people to have a very close and personal relationship with the God all of creation. Even so come, Lord Jesus.
Pitts Thanks It is nice to hear about your holiday. Uncle Phil looks a bit grand in his bow tie and the white hankie, (hope you don't need it, its too good to use!!!!). Hope you'll still have tea with us after all that service. Next time you come we will have to wash your feet and get out the slippers. John has enjoyed another one of your jigsaws. We dug up our winter veg patch today. Planted poppy seeds Saturday So hopefully there are some lovely plants when you come over next. Marty is interviewing Jonathan and Vanessa tomorrow to join Kersbrook, so that will be nice to have some more join. I want to know how big the waves get while you are away. It must be amazing to see so much of the ocean and Gods wonders. I wonder if you will see some whales. We know that you will see beautiful sunsets and rises and remember that God is looking after his people. Well take care and come back super fresh. xx
Thinking of you between washing floors and doing dishes. You look like the PM in that penguin suit, Phil. Try not to put the English bacon down the shirt front!!!! Enjoy!!
Jenny looks lovely,...hope she is settling in to ship life. Love the Moonrise,...now for a Sunrise!!!
Hi Phil & Jenny, Your time is fast coming to an end, isn't it ? That 4 or 5 weeks have flown. I love the look of Buxton Village - a very pretty place with quite a lot of history, by the looks. With all the photos you have taken, you will have enough memories to last a life time !!! Looks like the weather is starting to improve over there and yet here today, it has been like a winters day. Quite cold and a lot of rain - good for the garden though !! John is still not 100 %. It's going to be a long time till he is back exhorting again. Damien did the exhort today, and Graeme will do it next week - they are doing a marvellous job rotating their platform duties.
Hope you enjoy Dubai in a couple of days - it will be interesting to hear what you think about it.
Have a good flight back and God Willing we will catch up with you when you return. I don't know if we will see you straight away, as we fly to Melbourne on the 30th April, returning on the 8th May.
But we will catch up at some stage in the not too distant future. I have got so much on this week before we go - it always gets busy just when you want to get away.
All our Love to you both, and hoping you are both keeping well, Glenys & Sam xxx
P.S Your mum was at the meeting, she seems quite good, seems to be handling everything ok, but of course I'm sure when she is on her own, she sheds a quiet tear.
Homeward Bound Hi Sam and Glenys, thanks for the update. Have a safe trip yourselves. Have just done an online check-in and our hotel/B&B/Guest House is only 5 mins from Gatwick.
Love to all you guys and hopefully John will be back on his feet sooner rather than later.
Phil & Jenny
Hi Phil & Jenny. It sounds like you are having a marvellous time, and travelling heaps. Did you catch up with Hamilton & Audrey at the conference ? Your photos are great - really enjoying them !! Sam & I went to your Dad's funeral last week - very nice, and a full house. (People had to stand, the chapel was so full) Mum seems to be coping ok.
Had David Taylor from over there, do our exhort yesterday. Very good exhort. I believe he and Rachael are on their way to Tasmania to visit his father who is not well. But it was lovely to have them with us for the day. Not much happening over here. Keep warm !!! Love to you both, Glenys & Sam xxx
UK Trip Hello Sam and Glenys,
Yes we had quite a few chats with the Fosters as they were staying in the same hotel as us for the Gathering. Thanks also for attending dad's funeral and telling us a little more about it.
Sounds like bro Hubert is about to pass the way of all men if both David and Rachel are out in Aust.
We met at Leeds West yesterday and they are a very old ecclesia. The Serving brother is 92 and visually impaired, no hymn book, but knew all the hymns and his wife is in a wheelchair.
Today we hav a walk around Leeds, tomorrow we go to a Railway Museum at York, a Shopping Outlet, bigger than Harbour Town and then a soccer match. Wednesday it's back to Belinda for a few days, then to Horley (near Gatwick), Dubai on 22/4 and home on 25/4.
Where has the time gone? All the planning since about Sept is coming to a finale.
Hope you have enjoyed being with us, despite the poor (at times) internet.
Love Phil & Jenny
I am old and my wife is younger. We love visiting family and friends and visiting places of interest as well as having the odd steam train trip, or coach tour, perhaps a boat ride. We see this as being a great way to keep in touch with our global family and global friends from Facebook.
The big move from Sth Aust to Victoria - includes Kyneton, Lakes Entrance, Mallacoota (Victoria) and Eden, Tathra, Merimbula and Bega (NSW).... full info
