Left Skegness at around 10.00 a.m. with some trepidation because of weather forecast for snow and holdups to traffic. We went and bought a blanket and some food (biscuits) and one bottle of water in case. The snow on the cars and housetops was our morning greeting, and then as we left the city area the snow provided those scenes that you only have seen on postcards or movies. Hi Phil & Jenny, Well did u expect that much snow when u left our shores? Following your trip has been very interesting, wish I was with u on your travels !!!! Keep the photos and messages coming. I hope I am doing the right thing using this space to write to u.. not used to this Travel Blog business !! We are off to Kristy and Lees tonight for dinner. So that will be nice.
