Trying the Comments again.
The country is so beautiful with the snow and the mountains. Makes me feel like I could put up with that long journey to get to them again. I wish so much I was younger. I'd be over there in a second looking for work and travel and work and travel and so on ! The buildings are pretty quaint too ! So glad you are enjoying yourselves. Much love to you both.

FOUND IT !
Well after hunting around clicking every where under "Comment on" I everntually got a curser ! I love reading your Blogs and seeing where you've been and what your doing. I liked the photo of you with the Pig's Nose Jude. Made me laugh. There could be a bit of serious dieting going on when you arrive home I'm thinking ! Deep Fried Snickers ?? And Blueberry Lemonade ?? Makes the mind boggle. Is it any wonder the Americans have a weight problem ?Potato Ribbons and Mud Pig ? Will look forward to the next entry.

Buenos dias
I like what I see. weather seems good, food seems good. I thouhgt you both were past needing condom iniums. Make sure you try the Key Lime pie so that you can tell me what it is really like. Cold and wet hear - get over it I here you say. We also are about to be enveloped in an ash cloud from the volcano in South America. Plane flighte will be cancelled for the forseeable future. Melbourne was shut down earlier in the week again from volcanic ash. You are looking well and in spite of the food intake you still fit into your clothes. Rags, you sooky la la get in the Atlantic while you can. Cheers for now.

eastward ho!
Thought you might have got lost - but you were just covering AUstralia from west to east. It's a pity that there aren't too many interesting stops on the way so that you don't get bored. You'll have to explore more mind games! Pro Hart's stuff is worth a stop!!

Fisherman trying his luck

Hello from fisherman !!
Hello there! This is the fisherman and his wife. We were told that his photo was "on the net" and we looked until we found it! He went back to 80 mile beach the next year to have a week fishing with a mate, and THIS time he landed a 7 foot shark!!!! It took him 2 hours to do so and he let this one go....you should have been there!!! You would have eaten for a month!!!!!! Best wishes, from Jan O

Black tip for us. Thanks mate!

Told me that story today.
Haha so funny to see Easy's pic after Googling Fishing at 80 mile. He told me that story today about the shark he caught and gave away, as we were talking about my recent trip up there.

Constantinople
Hi ya, Turkey certainly is a fantastic place and you kinda get attached but at the same time your pleased to be leaving in one piece. Istanbul is a wonderful city and Rags you take the cake for driving in that madhouse. So much to see so much to do and so much history and sooooo many people. great to see the pics. The food and wine and beer is generally very good. It seems like the weather is still being kind to you. I look forward to the next thrilling instalment. Safe journey.

blog
I also read the Birds without wings of Louis de Bernier and found the history fascinating. I enjoyed visiting Turkey when we were there in 2002 and many places that you visited we visited also. Troubles at home have kept me from reading the blogs much. xx Lucy

Comments
Thanks for the comments everyone. It's been Rags "job" to write the blog as I have a paying job. I think he's done a great job. I just help out with some editing and photo selection. It helps to keep the motivation going if we know someone is reading them or at least looking at the photos! cheers, Judy

Love reading your Blog
Hi Rags and Judy - Yes we look forward to reading your Blog - what a wonderful job you do with it and also what wonderful sights you are seeing and experiencing on your lovely long tour. As I said the other day - keep up the good work. When do you get home again? Love Judy and Barry

thank you for the most interesting and delightful accounts of your travels. I just finished a very good novel about a greek and turk village in the time of WWI and the account of the young men who founght at Gollipide (sp). If I remember correctly it was titled Birds Without Wings and was written by and English man with a French name. Karen and I are looking forward to more of your travel reports.

Sounds as though it's a good time to travel after the majority of tourists go home. Kerry.

Heading North
It seems that you are heading North. Gallipoli is very impressive - eh. It seems tha Troy has not changed, we found it a bit disappointing. Are you heading to Istanbul? The Aegean coast is beautiful and the pics do it justice. Carry on.

Pamukkale looks fantastic
Hi guys, we did not go to Pamukkale as we were told it was closed to the public but it looks like it is very much open. It looks like the weather is favorable, t shirt conditions. Shame about the bombing in Istanbul it reminds you that Turkey is a place of contrast, the beauty on one hand and the ever present danger on the other. Seeing the photos brings back a lot of good memories, especially a freshly made Gozleme. The weather is heating up here wityh a forecast 36 today. The kitchen is finally ordered and should be installed before Christmas - the cost undisclosed, but we will have the most expensive kitchen sink in Perth. Christan is now back in Europe heading through Belgium, Austria, Germany and then back to Switzerland. Stay safe and keep on truckin' - no Rags, I said truckin'.

One beautiful newish mosque we passed in a little village.

Very nice picture
Hi Judy, Just browsing through your travel blog. I must say, you're extremely lucky to have gone to so many places around the world! Couldn't help but comment on this particular picture. Picture came out really nice. The mosque certainly looks 'holy' and sparkling new!
