Smell the salt in the air Hello from South Hero Vermont
after reading this a funny thing came over me I remembered the times i was island hopping in that neck of the woods or Oceans and the smell of that southern ocean air came back. a testament to your great writing. It was what prompted this reply.
so on the northern news the skiing up here is as bad as it can get. So you are not missing much in that regard.
Not sure if this fits but Haiti like many places will prosper best through education- so I share this with you to share with others. MIT has made available for FREE all their courses online for download- this is over 1400 of them. also for those traveling that want to learn more- a great resource to boatschooling. see MIT http://ocw.mit.edu/index.html
a free and open educational resource (OER) for educators, students, and self-learners around the world.
Good Times I just wanted to say that I had a really good time with you guys and the more you stick around the better it gets, so hopefully you guys will still be around this week end!!! Thanks
Happy New Year Hi Eric and Annie:
Hope you are both well and enjoying the sunshine. I just wanted to wish you both a happy, healthy 2007 with love and prosperity. We just got back from three days in Hong Kong plus 13 hours at Disney World. Had a great time. I have only 4 days left in China, can't believe time has passed to quickly. I am enjoying the life here with my Michelle and my granddaughters, they are growing up so fast. Anyway take care and send you my love.,
Carol

real adventure ... Hey Hello!,
Nice to ear from you... I believe I'm reading the National Geographic a few weeks ago it was NY and “all the modern” activities and now the very minimum to stay alive day by day . Great life experience Please continue your quality comments & pictures. Most important “have FUN”
Port au Prince Aren't we lucky to have Canada as our home??? We take freedom for granted but for lots of others around the world it's a luxury. The weather looks great and I love the art. You should buy some!! Luv ya lots, Fay xxx

Crossing to Haiti Beautiful!!!! What a great place for Club Med!!!! Shame we can't get an all inclusive there and the local people reap the benefits!!! Lotsa luv and keep sending the daily updates (I can keep dreaming over my morning coffee!!).
GLORIOUS What an absolutely beautiful, unspoiled area. Sad in a way I am sure but ever so simple. And what a greeting you had from the people there. bet they don't get too many visitors. I will check in again on your travels. Please be safe. Terri
Mole St. Nicholas Wow ..... what wonderful photos and a super description. I felt I was really there with you!! It makes me feel very humble to think these villagers have so little and I so much in comparison .... and just think I complain and grumble ..... and they so friendly and happy to see you (we've gone wrong somewhere I think!!). Love xxxxxx
Mole St. Nicolas Words fail me as I sit here with electricity, food in the fridge and the IGA down the road. Our life seems so easy BUT then again no one is going down my road singing and wishing me a good day. What an adventure you are having. I love reading your journal and the photographs are first class. Look forward to the next installment. Take care of each other.
Luv Mary and Sid

Thank you Hi my northern hemisphere friends.
Things busy as usual for me this time of year selling lots of peacetoys. Your travel update are a brief but refreshing escape to warm waters and Ocean travels. Winter keeps coming and going skied Sugarbush this weekend very few trails with only manmade snow now a week of more warm and rainy conditions.
Will send you a sunset I took on thankgiving day you can share showing how beautiful it can be in Lake Champlain.
Sights on Haiti When you receive this you will probably be in Haiti ..... hope you had a great and uneventful trip. Beautiful sunset in West Caicos. I am sure from now on it will be one one gorgeous sunset after another!! Comparatively mild here but rainy today so your sun looks great. Hope you manage to meet up with Mum and Dad sometime over the holidays. By the way, are you have turkey and all the trimmings on the beach this Christmas!!!
That entrance is sure fun to make! Kidding of course. Even with the pilot boat it was nerve racking when I went in there, had a strong crosswind when going through that narrow through solid coral when you are near the marina entrance.
Bet its nice to be back in the tropics.
devil Hi Annie et cap't eric......
Ok, I just read your last blogue, and, with this freezing rain outside, the day will be more harder....
je ne comprend pas comment se fait-il que je sois encore au frette. mais, bonne nouvelle, après avoir vendu mes subway de trois-rivières, ( yessss, it's done), j ai maintenant un deal sur ceux de montreal. I hope they will be over on the end of january....
Same for the ultramar gaz station. j en ai ultramarre......
Thank you for pushing me to be at the other side of this earth.
kiss annie for me
bon vent
serge
Lucky You How spectacular and a dream of a lifetime to be doing what you are!! How beautiful it all looks. Grace Beach in particular .... I certainly think it all looks like paradise!! Will we be seeing you on the Mango Reef site? Conch farms are something that I didn't know about and very interesting. You will be sneakily glad to know that while you are basking in the sun and taking in the laid-back lifestyle of the islands, we are having flying snow (quite big flakes) and all the ground is covered in the white stuff. Pretty to look at ...... but that's as far as it goes!! Luv ya lots xxxxx Fay
