Safe Journey Home Hi Eric and Annie: Have a safe journey home and don't be too sad to leave Haiti. There are lots of people here waiting to welcome you back. Hope we see you this summer.
Luv
Mary
Eric and Annie, Your blog is again living proof that the world is a very different place than CNN and the evening news present to us. Travel and experiencing what people really are all about widens our personal wealth. Your blog has described, with such colour the lives of people who are just trying to make their own little corner of the world a better place and often it takes so little to fan the flames for them. Your kindness and generosity to the Haitians will no doubt be long remembered.
Looking forward to your return to fresh water ... have a safe trip home.

On va enfin vous revoir... Comme de raison on vous attend avec impatience .... allez vous mettre ANTIDOTE à l'eau ???si oui on se retrouve avec KOUAC KOUAC au champlain ...
encore une fois bon retour...

Awaiting your arrival I have been remiss at answering your blogs, but they have been read. You two are pretty special people who put a positive spin on everything. Haiti is very fortunate to have had you in the country for the past months, and have benefitted greatly from your presence and enthusiasm, I am sure. We are all looking forward to your homecoming and wish to hear of your latest adventures in person. Safe travels with love.
Sunday afternoon reflection Reading you adventure here at Valcourt is a treat. Thank for giving us an extroadinary look at this part of the world. Yes it is very poor but there is a positive human side that the media dont give us and you have brought it to us in such a wonderfull way. We , here at the lake, are looking forward for you to shear you hare your experience. This would most definatly be a winner for a conference at la Conam next fall !!!!!!!
It is interesting how life brought you there, and you thought you would be cruising the Carabeen going from port to port and instead you where sort of grounded in Haiti living an unforgettable human experience, It is said that nothing happens without a reason,
On thought that I share with people on a daily basis: IF YOU WANT TO MAKE GOD LAUGH, TELL HIM ABOUT YOUR PLANS FOR THE FUTURE !!!!!!!
Have a safe trip back

thanks for writing I just wanted to say thank you for taking me away from my dull job with your blogs and beautiful pictures. I'm in my 6x6 cubicle, I can't even see a window from where I sit and reading about your adventures with Annie takes me to another place - even if it's just for a few minutes. I know you appreciate what you are living but just to be sure you don't start taking it for granted, I'll repeat - I'm sitting in a 6x6 cube with no daylight at all! YUCK. Thanks again for taking me away from this! :-) Good luck with passing your stones... I'll be praying that it's not the size of a grape!! All the best, say hi to my old friend for me. Izzy
Kidney stone!! Hey Eric..........hope you are feeling better by now and your pain is all ''behind you'' so to speak! I have had a similar attack in my younger days and it is no picnic.........actually, my pain started at a very posh dinner party....so, it WAS no picnic!!
Anyway, get well soon and drink lots of water to flush that sucker out.
Take care and Love to you and Annie....and remember, ''this too, shall pass''!!!
Mary Lou.

Awaiting the blessed event Hi Eric: Hope you are feeling more comfortable now and not in such pain. Have you picked out names yet. Hope you have a painless delivery.
Luv you
Mary
Breathtaking As I've been reading through your blog and gazing into the life of my adopted people. You've brought me to tears several times. You seem to tread so lightly and yet leave grand foot prints ( of hope) and ( friendship)
This is what the internet is supposed to be!
So greatful I was passed your blog this morning and I haven't left it yet... except to run my 7 year old his birthday cup cakes to class. I've been to Haiti three times and have never left Port au Prince. These photos and your blog is incredible. Thank you so much for sharing. BTW my 7 yr old was born in Haiti.
the other side... Hello you both,
It has been a while since I sent you my comments, this doesn't mean we don't read you, I guest the quote from Mark Twain is for something...
From reading your blog I understand there is Port-au Prince and there is Haiti.... you manage to bring up a lovely side of that country... we all find it beautiful... imagine... Wow Peste !!!
Hope to see you soon ...
Pestel What a paradise!!! To see all this first hand is surely breathtaking and your description makes me feel I am there. Just loved the photos and the very picturesque streets with all the lush vegetation. Can't wait till we can have a movie night when you get home. Lotsa luv xxxxx
MAY THE HOLY SPIRIT GUIDE YOU I am only a native on-looker who by accident get to read your messages.
I feel warmth in my heart to see how human you two are.
Sincerely,
Yves
Bria I was thinking so much about you both yesterday because it had been such a long time since we heard from you .... then today your posting. How wonderful all the photos are and how happy the people look with all our cast offs!! Thank you Annie and Eric for going to all the effort to make a difference. You look fantastic Annie!! Couldn't see Eric though (photographer)!! Would love to know what your plans are. Will you be sailing further afield..... or staying in Haiti? Take care and love to you both .... Fay xxxxx
