God bless you God bless you and keep up the good work. I was looking at the pictures and I'm happy to look at my people through you. Ever since I discovered this site last month, I’ve been coming back every day for updates. Happy sailing and thank you. Achille.
Just Hellooooo! Hi Guys..............I so enjoy reading your Blog as your adventure continues while we sit around waiting for the f...........ing snow to disappear. Would you believe over Easter weekend...we had more of it...it was more like a Merry Christmas than a Hoppy Easter! Anyway, some of us sail and some of us wail!!! Just keep on doing what you are doing and enjoy your life.....carry on and love to you both...
Mary Lou.
Mailing address(es) Annie and Eric: Just wanted to compliment you on your cruising mode. Too many cruisers take and don't give back to the localities. Kudos to you for bringing back needed items from Canada. Why don't you expand this to your friends reading your blog? Post an address for each village and the items most in need. I'm sure that you'll get a good response from the people that have vicariously enjoyed your cruising in Haiti.
Ed
P.S. See you in the Big Apple.
Always entertaining Reading your blog is always very entertaining ... you have a great ability to choose just the right words to bring the adventure to life for those of us who have yet to cross over to the other side!
Fair winds....
So close and yet so far xxx So great you managed to rent a generator and contact us!! Sorry to know you had to walk so far for three tomatoes. Puts it all into perspective though (for me sometimes going to Loblaws is a pain in the a...e) . So .... Spring is approaching for you .... us too. Thanks to Bush's initiative (thinks this will bring him in line with Kyoto!! Not a hope in hell!) we have pushed the clock ahead earlier and are enjoying brighter evenings and .... more than that ..... the smell of Spring is in the air. We are all rejuvenated!! Can't wait to hear more about Bria ....xxx Luv to you both ..... from me xxxxooooxxxxooooxxxxoooo
Green with envy Eric and Annie: Cruising in Haiti - good for you. I've sailed by the northern coast and after seeing your photos and reading your log, I wish we had stopped and cruised for awhile. March 7 - snowing and 13 degrees in NYC. Enjoy the temps and trades. See you in the Big Apple on your trip back. Ed Bacon/iboatnyharbor.com
Oooops!! Forgot to add how much I love your artwork Eric!! Particularly, the turtle (my favourites)!! I am impressed. Off to Tremblant Wed. for a few days with the kiddiewinks .... sounds great but the weather is minus 38 (or more) with the wind chill. So it seems as if you are both in the better place. Luv xxx
At Long Last So great to hear from you finally .... and very much worth the wait. What beautiful aerial photos!! Eat your heart out National Geographic!! What type of plane was it Eric? If turboprop, could have been a Pratt engine!! I miss you both so much already and had such fun with you here although it was way too short. So pleased that Maxo loved his flippers etc. How nice to know that a small gift goes such a long way!! Love you both lots and lots xxxxx Fay P.S. Keep sending the updates ... just love to hear from you. Also visited your exact location. I presume the blue ballon is YOU!!
Hey, we miss you already!!! Hope your journey back was good, especially with all the luggage you were taking. It was so special to see you both and hear of your adventures first hand. Wish we could be with you to see the smiles on the villagers faces when you arrive back. They are very lucky you care so much. Luv you. Looking forward to your next adventure.

Lifesaver While on a short-term mission trip in Grande Goave I reluctantly agreed to be rowed over to a small island, just off the coast, by a young, inexperienced Haitian boy. Enroute, I expessed my concern that the boat (a log carved out to resemble a boat) was taking on water and that it would be best to get back to shore.
My ability to speak Creole is the same as my ability to swim.......non-existant!
The boy said that there would be no problem, I think, and after just a few seconds the "boat" filled with water and there I was in deep, water, strong current and no lifejacket.
Eric and Annie, in the area with their motorized raft, came over, pulled me from the water and got me safely to shore. Without their help I may have drowned.
God is always with us, even though we sometimes don't take the time to "see" him or give him the thanks he deserves in so many things in our lives.
God bless Eric and Annie.......and thankyou, again.
wow Another wow, how lucky we are and sometime don't even realize it. Your adventures are surely a lesson that we take too much for granted living as we do. I will start today and gather items for the children so get the suitcases ready. Really looking forward to your visit back and hope to see you at some time when you are here. Take care of yourselves and I send you my love. Safe trip. xoxo
i basically live in mole! so while i was randomly googling random things i googled mole because we take four mission trips there a year. we work with pastor kenan a very well respected man in that area. it was amazing to see those photos, i was like omg i swim in that bay and thats the market, and the boat they rowed you in is one i jump off of when i swim, mole is my second home i love it. and it was just amazing to see someone else going to haiti. by the way you over paid for your lobster! we were just there in nov..i could go on all day bout how much i love haiti but ill let you go....well i hope you enjoyed visiting my home away from home since i was ten(im 16).later

Wow Hi Annie and Eric:
All I can say is how lucky you are to have experienced this wonderful adventure, I have just spent the last hour enjoying your journal and photos, I had not seen them beyond Lake Champlain as our computer was broken and I had tried in China but also network was down and could not bring in the blog. What a fantastic trip..Take care of each other and look forward to hearing more stories. Love to both of you.
