Good climb
Congrats on getting to the top, it sounds like a great hike. I must try it climb when I'm next home in Ireland. Apparently the hardcore pilgrims climb this barefoot as a form of penance! The Inca Trail is probably the easiest trail to MP but I wouldn't underestimate it. Make sure you're acclimatised - also, it's worth doing a few practice multiday hikes beforehand as a good warm up.

HI, just have to say well done Darren, I feel I was on holiday with ye and have enjoyed reading up on your adventures every day. You have given a fantastic account of Thailand and given us a feel of what it is really like. Think you should apply for position with Rough Guide or one of the travel books or better again start your own. Safe journey home and looking forward to seeing ye.
