Chamonix is the home of exreme skiing for good reason. Up for adventure, two of us followed some locals out of bounds only to learn we were on the long Pas du Chevre trek into town not to a lift. Fortunately, we found Mark who led the way and we made it back via a very long day of skiing and hiking in varied terrain. Botswana's Chobe Game Park is noted for a great place to see elephants. On our game drive, we saw leopard, lion, elephants, cape buffalo, hippos, giraffe, impala, kudu, warthogs, and even 2-week-old lions. Fabulous place.... read more
