A few months later....:-) Thanks for your encouragement.
I have not stopped traveling - just stopped writing for a while, i wrote over 60 travel impressions ( only about 19 here) and needed a break.
I'll gladly let you know if i start writing again..thanks
Have you stopped traveling? I have enjoyed reading your blogs. You have not posted in a long time. Have you stopped traveling? or just stopped blogging? Would love to read more from you.
Happy Holidays,
MJ
... Good article but
RHINOS ARE NOT BAD TEMPERED!!!!!! Rhinos charge when they're scared, spooked, provoked, or in mating season. But it definately does NOT mean that they have a temper.
It just makes me sad that no one understands the magnificent and beautiful rhino's true nature. They're not mean, bad-tempered, or the most dangerous animal in the world. They are extremely underrated, misunderstood, intelligent, and endangered, and we REALLY need to help and care about them. People. People just don't care about the lesser-known animals : they care only for the 'cute and cuddly' animals and themselves :'(
THE ISRAELI GLOBE TROTTER Hey Zeev,
I was surfing the internet this afternoon and stumbled upon your worldwide traveling blog. Quite the adventure you have taken. How are you ? Where are you ? What are you doing with your life ? We moved but still making movies in L.A. and around the globe. Was in Australia, New Zealand and India recently. Love to hear from you.
All the best,
Louis
I lived in Burma for 2 yrs in the 60's Greetings, I am happy to come along your website. I am always happy to talk with people who have traveled to Burma. My father was with the American Embassy and my mother taught school at the International School in Rangoon. I attended the school and met many different people from all over the world. This was during the Vietnam war...1963 to 1965. Living in Burma changed my life as I see the world. I loved it so much and it hurts my heart to follow the news of what is happening now. It was under the rule of Ne Win when I lived there and I saw the beginnings of the downfall. If you have time, I would like to ask some questions of what it is like there. Perhaps you saw my school or can share what the Embassy looks like etc.
Thank you for listening,
Lois Rhae Hendrix
Ravishing!!! Your free spirit, impressions & style are captivating!!!
(even though your vocabulary is a bit abrasive at times,
guess it’s a rudimentary reflection of The Hebrews Ancient
Language. Isn’t it? ...)
I’ve made a similar journey to Chitwan (though
on elephant backs) & would like to explore
the island of Madagascar by foot ...
Thanks for sharing your wonders online!
Rutie
Thanks Helena
I appreciate you encouraging feedback - Let me recommend to you my "asian Zylimpics" chapter and the "women issue".
You are right, English is my second language out of three and a quarter.
Thanks
Zeev
Funny stuff Hi! Just stumbled onto your blog and I think it's bleedin' great! I find it amazing how good your perceptions are articulated, with high comedic value! I do gather from certain centences or words that you might not be an English-speaking native, is that right? And I whole-heartedly agree with the comments on the label 'heroes' for just plain old victims of circumstance - I too have always found that highly irritating... Looking forward to read more stuff!! x
Thanks Man Glad you said it openly.
I do LOVE Turkey and if you read some more of my writing, you'll understend that i joke in a teasing loving way - as one would a loved friend or family member.
Cool, not cool? That is the question 'Sup. Although I've never lived there, I'm from Turkey, I am. Everything was interesting except the minaret comment...not cool dude, not cool!
Same! I'm here in Nice, France, and Nice has the same 'skin disease' you mentioned, especially the university...it's terribly offputting...but at least you are enjoying good hearty portions of food in Portugal! The French need to be taught a thing or two about spices and food portion, haha
THATS WHAT II AM TALKING ABOUT!!!! wow!!!!!! ii never met any one who loved pandas like i do!!!!!!!now i know at least some one likes them and and not only me!!!! you just maade my day!!!!thank you so much for sharing!!!!
What's with Asians & dead animal heads? Everywhere I go in Asia, someone is carting around remnants of dead animals. Mainly heads, but... Are eyeballs considered a delicacy? Another reason to be a vegetarian.
your blogs make me laugh I enjoy listening to you talk about sticking out like a sore thumb in weird situations. Ö Thanks for having such a great sense of humor and keeping this journal.
Just because mostly everything in my life seemed to be in the right place, I decided to initiate this monumental change - to sale my house (December 2004) and go traveling, indefinitely.
I started my journey with a meticulously laid out plan - not to have a travel plan. To start in Thailand, a place I loved in previous visit, then spread open my "metal" sails, and let the wind direct me.
It has been, and still is, an amazing period in my life.
