Today we drove from Santa Fe to Mesa Verde National Park via Pagosa Springs and Durango, CO. We traveled 262 miles in about 6 hours (we stopped in Durango to have a picnic). Today we drove from Austin, TX to Santa Fe, NM. We drove 686 miles which took about 10-1/2 hours. The best part about the drive was seeing a field of sunflowers and stopping to take pictures. We visited downtown Santa Fe and walked all around downtown and visited the galleries on Canyon Road. We ate terrific Japanse food at Izanami. Izanami is an amazing restaurant located adjacent to the Santa Fe National Forest at the beautiful Ten Thousand Waves Spa. Tomorrow we're looking forward to getting to Colorado and spending some time outdoors.... read more
