Today we drove from Austin, TX to Santa Fe, NM. We drove 686 miles which took about 10-1/2 hours. The best part about the drive was seeing a field of sunflowers and stopping to take pictures. The worst part about the drive was being sleepy because we only got about 3 hours of sleep.

When we arrived in Santa Fe the first thing we did was change clothes and set off to explore. We visited downtown Santa Fe and walked all around downtown and visited the galleries on Canyon Road.

We ate terrific Japanse food at Izanami. Izanami is an amazing restaurant located adjacent to the Santa Fe National Forest at the beautiful Ten Thousand Waves Spa. Tomorrow we're looking forward to getting to Colorado and spending some time outdoors.
