:) Your pictures made me smile:) Be sure to say hi to the neighbor and the host family from me. It means a lot to me to see them in pictures with you!!
Miss you and see you in 22 days, but who is counting..
Hi Tiffany, I stumbled onto your blog while looking for my daughters.
She is studying in Toledo and got there around the same time you did. I lost her blog site and was looking when I found your site. I agree with your mom - you girls are a lot stronger than I was at your age. I hope you enjoy your opportunity to live and learn in Spain. My daughter can't get over the fact that there are "no clothes dryers" in Toledo. Have fun.
Que bueno escuchar de ti!!! Querida Tiffany,
Satty
Ear Plugs Get some ear plugs - they work wonders!
I hope to get together with Lisa in the next week or two to plan our itinerary. It sounds like you will know exactly what to do. Let us know if there is anything you would like us to bring for you or your family. Or should I say - familia! I have also learned to say help, I don't know, I don't understand, hospital, emergency, doctor... sounds like I am planning a really great time :) maybe I should check my insurance................ Love you! XOXOX
Jet Lag Another set of cool pictures. It is like a pre-show for Lois and I, 36 days and counting.
I would imagine you are suffering a bit of jet lag and time change still:) The first week you probably were getting by on Adrenelin.
I look forward to your blogs and I know the rest of the family does also!
Can't wait to see you! Love you!
Hola Tiffany Tengo un Trebajo! Bueno! Mucho denero!
38 dias! Mucho feliz!
Tiff - I am trying - but my spanish is mucho terrible! We may starve to death but I will be able to describe the colors in spanish though! See you soon! Looks like you are having a fabulous time. Can't wait for the next update.
Hmm Isn't funny how we can spend our entire life in our own country and when we leave and go elsewhere it is the little things we miss. For you a nice cup of Starbucks coffee. What will it be for Lois and me?
Love you
I'm such a goof! I've read everything and looked at your beautiful pic's. Here I sit so proud and happy for you with tears streaming down my cheeks, I'm such a goof. I'm so very happy that you got your luggage. I KNOW you were thrilled to have your stuff around you! Everything sounds so exotic and exciting! I look forward to more pic's and notes on your stay. You are so loved here! YOur Grandma Dee loves your hair, and so do I. We are all ok, trying to get over the niffles. Take care and have fun!!
Student Exchanges sure have Changed.... Hello, I stumbled upon your blog and it's really cute. I was once an exchange student in 1981....can you believe it? we didn't have the internet, digital cameras, or International long distance telephone calls.....we had to endure long spells without hearing from family or friends. I think I was able to get ONE call through.
I am struck at how much things have changed for students today. Instant communications all across the globe, and so easy. Enjoy your time in Spain, and enjoy being away from everything! REally---you are a lucky girl to be out in the world, read and learn as much Spanish as possible! this will be the best lesson ever.
Buena suerte. Cristobal.
Hello! Hi Honey! I'm so happy everything is working out for you now. I can't believe the story about the luggage - you are a much stronger person than I am. I think I would have fallen to pieces! The pictures you are sending are beautiful - somewhat better than, oh, EVERYTHING here! Your mom misses you tons, but she is so happy that you are taking this opportunity. I agree wholeheartedly - I wish I would have taken those opportunities when I was your age. Keep sending more pics and take care! Oh, tell your host parents you'd like your fish with a little less "assembly required." Later! :-) Esser/Blair
McDonalds What happened at McDonalds to you is what is going to happen to Lois and I when we are in Toledo. We will try to order a hamburger and we will end up with mystery meat surprise:):):)
Love You
eew...pigs leg Hey deary, well I read all of your blogs now! It's sounds like tons of fun, and reminds me of being in Austria--everything is similar but just enough different to make you feel sort of weird. We never had whole fish though...strange.
I'm glad things are going well and that you got your luggage and everything. Well...i've got nothing, we just talked an hour ago, so i'm going to go finish unpacking.
love ya!
I just had to read your blog Tiffany!! I soooo wish I could do that all over again :-) Enjoy it while you are there and be sure to take tons of pictures and save them so you don't lose 'em!!! Buena Suerte con toda!!! :-)

Fish
That fish looks pretty scary but the french toast looks good.
