Which camels were you guys on? And why a catamaran on land with no one aboard sailing? But oh that food - I should show Lucky the photos so he knows what he is missing out on since he decided to stay at home and watch over the cat.
I'd give my right leg (well, may be my little toe nail on my right foot) to swap places with you guys! It was minus one in Rutherglen last night- although the Durif at Jones' winery made it bearable!
The photos are gorgeous... it's amazing how many km's you've covered already. Looking forward to your next installment :)
Lucky lads Hi George, and the rest of the trio,
sounds like like you've had some exciting episodes since your last blog. The photos you took were amazing, just like picture postcards. Coincidentally the weather guy on "Sunrise" was up in Broome on Friday and was standing on the beach where people go to watch the sunsets. Just gorgeous. Hope you're enjoying the beautiful warm weather cos it's pretty cold back home in Mebourne. Have you had a camel ride?
Any way take care and I look forward to reading yu next blog.

whas happn Hey George and other dudes
what is happening? Lucky is miserable without you but barking less than when you are here. Katherine must be tougher and yet kinder. Greg Tsiro sais hi. Connie and I are missing the visits but I am drinking for two to make up. Went through considerable Russian 'water' last night.
Hello Hi there happy campers! Hope your trip is going well. The photos look good. Bring back a crocs head as a memento... would look good in the new lounge room above the fire place.......
Fabulous Pics ! The photos are great! Cannot wait to see the results of the fishing trip in Broome. I heard you will be eating fish for the next 2 weeks.
hey amigos Hey there Georgey,
Looks like ye are having a blast on yer adventure. The pictures are fantastic they look amazing, try be nice to the bar women or no alco for ye.Your missed here but kayls is doing a great job lov the comments keep them up and hi to the other amigos from crazyirish lass......
What about the Tanami? I can hardly stand up, WHAT!! No Tanami track!!! Of course you'll have to come back to it later on I would imagine. How else are we going to get photos and find out how long it is.
I am a bit jealous, you all look so happy, like it REALLY is a great trip. How is the trailor performing, and holding out. I'm wondering just like Spiro, did you have to leave it by the side of the road in Port Augusta? Did you get a few grand for it for the value in scrap metal. 12 tons of steel should fetch a pretty good price.
I would also like to know if there was a goat waiting for Richard in that cave. Why else would someone climb way up there. If Stevo had of seen it, he would have shot it in the guts by then.
Keep up the good travelling men, and stay safe, especially in those outback pubs. The Barmaids will see the fresh meat walk in and try and tear you to pieces. And enjoy the sun. As Spiro said, its friggin' freeeeeezzzin here, and rather wet at times. I can't wait to see your new physiques when you return, after all that exercise, you're gonna have to work hard to get your old bodies back. And I hope the supply of Peri Peri is holding out, otherwise the faces in the photos wouldn't be so cheerful, I'm sure.
Bon Voyage adventuremen of milpara
Nice one Great photo's fellas. Looks like you're getting some nice weather too. Melbourne is fricken freezing...I think today was 12degC. Noticed the trailer is missing from the photo's...the welds gave way did they ?
sensational Budge - Knew all those photos as soon as I saw them. If you have changed route to go up the guts - some suggestions for you - Alice is good to look around. Go to the reptile park. Make sure you go to rainbow valley in afternoon and watch the sun set. As you head north camp overnight at the devil's marbles - grouse. Must see katherine gorge. Across the middle you will need to stay at Victoria River. Get to Kununurra - make sure you go for a boat ride and a swim in lake argyle - brilliant. Light plane flight over bungle-bungles and argyle diamond mine is also worthwhile. Give halls creek a miss and camp at margaret billabong (about another 50km's further on). Fitzroy crossing has the best caravan park (go figure!!!) - see Giekie and tunnel gorges if you can - then you are in Broome!!! Travel safely ny friend and enjoy Regards

George - on a work note (yuk) please check your work emails when you get a chance, sorry to do that to you but you should know better than to take a laptop with you.

Steve (Grappa) Richard (Hotpants) and George (Kavla...don't ask) are heading off on an Odyssey to the Top End. Preparation for this trip has been intense. (quote "We've had to learn how to fend off Crocs with a bowie knife while carrying a "slab" back to camp......even worse, we've had to give up "stubbies" and learn how to drink out of cans !!...it's like learning how to walk all over again...!!!... full info
