Good to hear from you both Lovely to hear about your travels in Aus. Which P &October ship was It? We did a cruise to the Canaries in March on Oceana which is their oldest ship I think. Anyway all your travels sound magical with places and wildlife and you have some absolutely fantastic memories as well as lots of photos I'm sure.
It is very cold here at present for the Mayday bank holiday; we had heavy showers today some of hailstones.
See you both soon. Love
George and Teresa Xx

Happy new year!!! Hi Dave and ann what a fabulous time you both have had over the last 15 months! Such wonderful memories to cherish. We have loved reading about all your experiences and it takes us back to our travels years ago. We used to live right opposite the Sydney cricket ground where we spent some brilliant times. Enjoy Singapore and have a safe journey home. Happy new year to you both and we look forward to catching up with you soon! Xxx
Fabulous Australia Hello U2 - thanks for the latest blog - what a great time you are still having - Australia sounds amazing. When we did NZ we would have liked to visit Aus but didn't make it - specially as we have friends in Perth - still keep in touch though. Weather here is not very christmassy just damp and foggy. George had to spend a week in Ipswich Hospital at the beginning of Dec as he got pneumonia but he is home and recovering now thank goodness. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas in Sydney with your sons and look forward to seeing you back in the UK in 2017 - happy christmas and happy and healthy New Year. George and Teresa xx
Enjoy Oz and see you soon ! Wow looks amazing in Oz, enjoy the warm sunshine! Congratulations Dave on the new job and challenge, perfect man for the job. Take care and travel safe Jo xx
Glad you are enjoying down under - don't forget you will soon be home in the real world!!! Enjoy christmas if we don't blog between now and then. I am off to California - hooray!
South Island New Zealand Loved your journey - took me back to my visit to South Island visiting all your recommendations. Beautiful. Enjoy Australia - and well done David on your appointment as our new Sec.Manager. Look forward to seeing you in the New Year. Love. Molly xxxx
Lovely News Great to read your latest blog and brought back many memories of NZ at lots of places you mentioned - most of which lovely but not the 10 hour crossing of the Cook Strait when we got caught in a storm, ended in Picton in pitch black with ambulances etc and a big enquiry after which the Captain got the sack. Happily the good memories outweigh the bad as we then picked up a hire car and drove in the dark to Kaikoura for the whale watch. Coromandel sounded lovely and unfortunately one place we didn't get to but still did many of the others.
Sorry to report that we had atrocious weather for the Spencer Plate - sure someone will have told you already - not only torrential rain but thunder and lightening.
Your last piece of news comes as a complete surprise but congratulations to Dave on his appointment and we wish you both well on your time in Aus and then the trip home for January - look forward to seeing you then. Love to you both, George and Teresa xx
ConGrats Well done Dave on your new job. That should put an end to your wandering lol. Next time you speak to Kim ask her how she robbed me of a prize at the AGM!!
Could not believe it when you both returned to UK for a few weeks, we both had tears in our eyes. You seem to have had a wonderful time with Kim & Martin. Looking forward to the next blog down under. Miss you both loads. Allison & Brian xx
Fantastic.... Hi David and Ann,
I looks and "sounds" like you are really having a fantastic trip across the US. I enjoy following your travelblog and both text and pictures are great and inspiring.... Enjoy your journey and continue "reporting".
Best regards Jens
She's back And she hasn't stopped talking about the wonderful time she had. How come that parrot didn't shit on Dave eh?!! They both looked so relaxed and chilled but I expected mostly jet lagged. Lovely photos
Short but sweet It was a very short visit, don't think it was 3 weeks at all! Hope the booster lasts you and Dave well for the remainder. I bet it was nice to see the golf club in the sunshine. Look after yourselves the next year will fly by and I will need a lot of support when you get back. So much to learn
California Hi Ann and Dave
Loved reading this post as we are now in San Francisco!! sounds like the US open was great, what a fab experience ??⛳️ You are right about the farmers markets only been here 2 full days and already seen several and we had our lunch from one yesterday on the way back from a 16 mile cycle ride over the bridge and back!! Misty for us as well but we did spot a humpback whale under the bridge. Monterey for us tomorrow. Take care and look forward to reading your next post xx

Hi All
We hope you enjoy reading about our adventures over the next couple of years. We have a window of opportunity to do this and although we will miss our lovely family and many wonderful friends it is brilliant that some of you are able to join us for a week or two and we will cherish those times and really look forward to them. We will be forever on facetime and skype so you will probably hear from us more than you normally do!
Please comment and keep in touch, it really will be great to hear from you and we want to hear all your news too. We are very lucky and very excited to be abl... full info
