I feel I have a new friend. Justine, you have done a great job relaying to us what you and your grandparents have been experiencing on the road. I can't tell you how much i have enjhoyed keeping track of you every day and I will certainly miss NOT receiving it now. If I were your English teacher I would assign a project to you, to share with your classmates this great experience you've just had. You express yourself well and make your writings interesting. I have a good feeling about you, that you will succeed with whatever you choose to do with your life. I hope we will have the pleasure of meeting you the next time you come to visit Marge and Will. Thanks for an unusual journey and it didn't cost me a even a penny.

Home Sweet Home What a wonderful educational. loving trip for a young man. You have memories to last a life time. You will find the East very hot, and the South as well.
Have a wonderful school year, and may God richly bless you.

You will remember me, as the Altoona One....

The Road Home I want to take this opporunity to thank you for sharing with us during this wonderful trip. You have been given such a valuable gift and I know that you will never forget the adventure. The pics have been wonderful and the report were so very fun to read. Looks like the grandparents have held up very well too.
Look forward to meeting you in person some day, you seem like a very fine young man.
God bless you always.
What an adventure and so very beautiful, the pics are great can hardly imagine seeing all of this in person. You guys are going to be like the astronaults upon reentry into gravity, except it will be the REAL SUMMER!! We are looking forward to the next few days as you travel home and pray for a great ending to this travel story.
camp grounds What a wonderful adventure you are having. To think that your grandparents were concerned you would get tired of traveling!!! By far the most beautiful campsites I have ever seen.
tumbleweed Hi Justin,
Tumbleweeds are great to watch if you see them tumling, and usually preceed dust storms. Now let me know when you see a Jack Rabbit, for it is a sight to see. Weather is 90 here again, with little rain, not much, but a little. Travel safely we are praying for all of you.
reading HI,
When you get home read the book about Lewis and Clark. Maybe by then I will remember the title... I read it in the 90's so I would think it was printed then. VEry good, and you will know all the places mentioned. Tells of their perils, and their fights, and the victory. God Speed.
nice! Gorgeous shot of MT. Hood!
When we lived there I was little. My dad took me and Steve skiing on Mt. Hood. I had these baby skies. Steve and Trink can see it from their house. If you have time, check out Jeff's photo album on facebook. He took some great shots last summer when we were there. Are you headed back east now?
Good for you, Justin! Uncle David is proud of your "fire-making" abilities! That IS what camping is all about, isn't it??
Glad you're still enjoying your trip!
