Great pictures of Giverney Ray… You really have the blogging down pat I see...We are on day 12 in Ireland and after a couple more stops head home on the 15th. Buffalo chips and gold nuggets
Okay it seems you guys did about every thing on this trip except have a camp fire with dried buffalo patties and find gold nuggets in the streams along the way. Maybe you can do those two things on your next trip.

Enjoyed your adventure!
We live on the very edge of the twin cities where every pond seems to have one egret, there are lots of turtles, too many deer, a variety of birds etc. A fawn was nursing its mommy in our backyard the other day. We do love the critters and loved hearing about the ones you observed. The twin baby moose were adorable if moose can be adorable. Have a great summer.

mama moose with two calves
Awesome trip so far. Did you know how rare it is to see a moose mama with 2 calves? I seen on some nat geo show that she will quite often kill the weaker of the two within about a week of birth.

The Cat Herder and his wife are a retired couple residing most of the year in Northeastern USA. Since retirement we have taken a liking to traveling, sometimes with a large group of our friends, other times with our long time friends and travel companions, John and Diane. The term "Cat herder and his wife" originated from our first Med cruise. There was a group of 12 on that trip, all retired. Watching us try to keep everyone on schedule and in the right place, one member stated it looked like herding cats. The name stuck.
