Another lazy morning before we jumped back on the very good metro and headed to San Telmo. San Telmo used to be a rich area until a yellow fever epidemic in the early part of the 20th century. Big mansions were abandoned and poorer imigrants moved in. Cobblestone streets and on Sundays a huge antique fair that was beyond belief. They had all sorts of amazing things from really old clothes in great conditions, old cameras, toys, records and even old gramaphones (I almost bought one but hey I don't even know if I can spell the word). I did manage to get an original 60s copy of the Beatles with Tony Sheridan in Hamburg after some swift, effective but largely unintentional haggling with the vendor (I think he actually said 'you're breaking my balls
