The ideal place to travel to would include the following things: good food, beautiful women, stunning scenery, preferably mountains, and that you don't see any of your fellow countrymen there. For example, Amsterdam itself is a nice enough place, but as an American, there are just too many of us there. I don't even consider the Carribean to be outside of the US. On the other hand, you have not seen a beautiful woman till you have walked the streets of Moscow on a summer's day, nor have you tasted the sublimity of fresh food that is until you have eaten in Hong Kong. At the present time, my goal is to travel in Central Asia; much has been said about this area in the news but I think they are missing the point. My reasons for traveling has gone from searching for a purpose to escaping, for the present time, the bordom that is America.
My mother works for an NGO that sends her all over the world. I accompanied her many times as a child, and often my only toys were pencils and paper. This is how I became an artist and a traveller. My father is an acupuncturist from the "old country" - this is how I became an acupuncturist. I am 26, live in New York, and hope to do a tour with MSF, or Doctors without Borders.
