The information about the slave market and jail site was information I received on a tour of the city by a local resident who provided the tour. I'll correct the spelling error.

Inaccuracies
I am glad you all enjoyed your visit. It is Beale Street, not Beal. The stone platform was placed there as a monument by the DAR and has no proven connection to a slave auction block. There was a slave market on Adams and Main Street. The pictures of slaves cells is also inaccurate. That is the site of an old jail and then the animal impoundment facility.

If you ever make it back, we will show the Everglades as it should be shown ... quietly and with a Floida Master Naturalist ... www.EvergladesAreaTours.com

Great pictures! Thanks for posting them.
I wish I'd been home to go with you. I've always wanted to explore more of that area. The weather is just a teensy bit milder than the North Shore of MA.

This was our first stop
Juneau didn't look like a state capitol to me. It took some getting used to. We did have an excursion to Mendenhall and rafted down the river to a pull out/thaw out spot. Fantastic and freezing! Wish I had gone to the top of Mt. Roberts; the view is spectacular. I'd like to know who insures that ZipLine company and start a boycott of both of them!

Leaving Vancouver
It's a beautiful harbor as you depart on a cruise ship. Those shots bring back a vivid memory of beginning the cruise with my sister many years ago. Thanks for putting this out there for us to travel with you vicariously!
