The stained glass is so beautiful. I can't imagine how much prettier it is "in person". That is one of my favorite things. Years ago, on one of your trips, you sent photos of stained glass windows, Europe, but I'm not sure where. Keep them coming. That church is so strange looking....
art photos I was amazed when I was there that you're even allowed to take photos of the art! Most museums here won't allow because the flash is harmful to the paintings-really?-I spent two full days at the Louvre and felt like I managed to see everything. I've got lots of photos so if you want more....
food photos Ellen--I thought I was the only one to take pictures of food! I also take pictures of beer when I travel when it's served in different glasses! Love these shots because it makes me feel like I was there...I can almost taste that mouse!
Miss it Ellen--It just makes me miss Sayulita even more! I can't believe you stayed in that huge room! Great to see your photos now so we won't bore everyone at the dinner party with endless talk about our wonderful vacations!
it's just impossible for me to imagine the magnitude of the great wall... my God.... it's unbelievable... wonder how many lives were lost building it??
i have heard about this... in some of the countries, they have shallow ditches dug along the sides where water runs thru them constantly, and people just squat over them... good grief charlie brown...
the tunnels.... just heartbreaking... all that for nothing...
the snakevines, yuk... will prob see them in my sleep...they gave me a case of the willies...xo
