looking good Hi,
Pics are wonderful as well as the commentary. Wonderful weather, here cold and wet. Maybe you could stay for another month over there and we might have got rid of this rotton weather by then.
Have a safe trip back .Put your winter woollies on. Leona has her computer up and running. Love Pam
Crickey! Crickey! Should be a warning this page contains elderly soft porn! Hope you enjoyed the icecream... ;-)
Making use of the free internet at Kuala Lumpur airport to catch up on a few things...looks like you've been having a great time in my ex-home.
xx
Bon Voyage from my Homeland! Hello Karen and Peter, you must be preparing to "Pack your Bags" and Jean and I wish you both pleasant safe and interesting return flights to NZ. You must be leaving with much emotion in your hearts having seen so many wonderful places and sharing a lot of time with Tracey and David. You probably have been discussing your next trip to Europe with them or possible their visit to us again. Our love and best Wishes to them and to you Karen and Peter. Am looking forward to hearing some of your escapades once back. Incidentally, keep your "Winter Draws" out. Having frost after frost, but temps around 12 to 15. Re: Ladies Hairdos Peter, I, (Jack) do Jean a Homeperm and Roll it up couple of times a week. Crafty Lad, keep on their good side! All the Best... Jean and Jack XX
Wonderful holiday Hi Karen and Peter just logged on to your trip, its great that we can read all about it, wish I was there, take care and keep enjoying yourselves
Hostel question? Hi there! I enjoyed reading your blog! Lots of good stuff to know... Would you mind sharing the name of your hostel? I'm going to Istanbul alone on July 22. I want a decent and smaller hostel. I'm also 54 so wonder if I will feel really out of place at a hostel as I've never done the hostel thing before!! You seem pleased with yours!
Thanks for sharing!
Cathy
rhodes Hi, Hope your voice returns Karen, have some freshly squeezed orange juice and a salad in Rhodes, just so good.
The pics are lovely.Wee Irvin said it is raining in Marmaris next 3 days, so hope Rhodes has got good weather for you.
Take care
love Pam and Irvin
Beautiful Hi. You both look tanned and happy. So sorry to read about Mum's voice. That would drive me nuts!! Lovely photos again, especially of the ship which is really attractive with sails.
Ship HI, You are both looking great, and so does the ship. Seems like there is planty of room in your cabin. Very good choice you made better than those big cruise ships. I know you will both enjoy Rhodes and Turkey. Well I wish we were over there now, weather cold here and wet. Ther are some interesting streets to walk in, in Rhodes.
Take care Pam
Good Morning Karen and Peter, though it must be around 20.10 hours where you are. After a night of torrential rain I was surprised not to see the garden flooded when I went to get The Press from the drive. The Headlines this morning is "Storm batters, sinks boats". Poor Lyttelton copted again yesterday. Snow on Banks Peninsular, high of 9D today, so my Friends, you are certainly in the best place. Enjoy the sunshine, eat well, and hopefully Karen you are feeling better and are back with 'Full Voice'. Regards, Jean and Jack
Superb reading Peter Hello Karen and Peter, Thank you for such interesting and detailed readings on your fabulous travels. Jean and I have been 'with' you in some of the places, having had a week around Saloniki and the same at Athens. Did you climb to the castle at Nafplion?. Epidaurus and crossing the Corinth rail bridge were so detailed we were transported straight away. We will be very interested to hear more about it on your return. I will print off the last few pages of the Blog but not all the photos have been copied. Must get the cartridges refilled!! Barbara has taken the folder home to read about the trip. Here in wet Christchurch life goes on the same. Certainly colder. Snow again forecast for later today. Now almost Noon. Politics...... Key has said that Kiwibank will NOT be sold whist he is in power, in answer to opposition question. . but you don't want to hear about that tripe whilst enjoying yourselves. Have a wonderful cruise and be 'Nice" to each-other!!! Kindest Regards . Jean and JackX
Your Big Fat Greek Blog Hi. This was an amazing blog. Now I want to go to Greece more than ever. The Great Tumulus sounds utterly incredible. Loving your adventures. Can't wait to talk about it more in our sunny back garden!
OMG Hilarious! I think there may have to be a wedding ode perhaps! Glad Frogbert is recovering after his mean step-daddy wouldn't give him any love! :-)
HA! Hello. What a surprise entry this was! We've both just read it in bed, on the lap top with a cup of tea. Looking forward to reading more about your bus journey which I am happy to read you seem to be really enjoying.
It's All Greek To Me Hello folkies. Just catching up on your blogs. How cool that you can see the Acropolis from your hostel. Pity that your hostel is a bit disruptive but that is the trade off for cheap accommodation. Looking forward to reading more.
Hi, Wish you were here, you are missing out on our fantastic weather. We can get our wellies on and splash around in lots and lots of bigggggg puddles just think of all the fun you are both missing.
Love Pam Great pics looking forward to seeing the boat.
Enjoy the Meditteranean Thanks for your messages on our blog.
Sounds like you have been having a great time in London. All the best for the next 4 weeks. Hope you have continued fine weather and calm seas.
It's a bit strange settling back to reality at home. After very warm temperatures it was a shock to adjust to heavy rain and cold temperatures on our arrival back in NZ.
kitchen Hi, Gardens are lovely. Kitchen is smaller than mine, did not think that any kitchen was smaller than mine. We are wet here in fact, soaking wet. Hope you have a safe flite and keep your head down in Athens, try stuffed grape leaves they are really nice.
Have a wonderful time.
Love Pam and Irvin
Wonderful Sights I've just caught up on all your blogs. The squirrel story and follow up was excellent and the many elephants look great, however the most fantastic photo of all was Dad, mowing my back yard. KEEP IT UP! ha ha. Loving your Londn adventures
Mallwalking Sounds like you both are having a good time..can't believe Mum went mallwalking around Westfield..next she'll have to try out Bluewater. Hello from Addis Ababa. xx
pics Hi, Pics are great. Rang Leona, she is having trouble with her lap top, she said the lady took it away again today. will contact her again in a couple weeks. Did not get to talk much she had somone coming to see her. Sounds good for Athens nothing on tv lately. Miserable here. you went at the best time.
Take care Love Pam
The squirrels are grey not red!!!! Sorry folks, the pesky squirrels are GREY American imports, not the native British Reds, which they have nearly wiped out due to their more aggressive behaviour and the fact that they carry squirrel pox to which they are immune but is deadly to our Reds. Some of them have a reddish hue as they cunningly try to fool you into false protective feelings. They are VERMIN and can be legally killed (humanely of course).
Enjoy the summer!
Best regards
Ian (greys so far - 21).
LOVELY WALKWAY HI, Looks really nice over there. Cold and wet here so I guess winter is here. We had soup by candle light last night, just sat down and out went the power, so glad we had a few candles and a flash light. Lasted two hours, guess we will have to wait till the local rag comes out to find out what happened.
Hope the dust stays away.
Love
Pam and Irvin
