Yes it is....
It is too a long way! Especially for just a n overnight trip when my pack is heavy with beer, pasta and sausages. Hey, even Karen who was on the trip said it was too long- and she is training for a marathon that's 2 months away!

Great blog, amazing photos. Kudos to giving the well deserved highlight on this wilderness area! :) C'mon 7 1/2 miles is NOT that long, especially if you're treated with AMAZING views like you saw :)

Hi Stephen, Thanks for your comment on my Madrid page – sorry I only just saw it! Yep, long-distance travelling is on hold until I have enough money, but the plan is to head to South America next June and mess around there for a year or so – might bump into you in Chile! Great blogs and pics btw.

My favourite dive spot
Great photos of my favourite dive spot! the Poor Knights is one of the best dive spots in the world and you have captured the character of the place so brilliantly. Pity the light was not better on the day as words cant describe the beauty that abounds here. Thanks Stephen for these magic photos.

Amazing!
Your pictures are absolutely beautiful. I especiall like "Fox Glacier Hike" and the sheep one (-: That's one thing I remember about are time in NZ when we were kids- the amazing colors in the sulfer ponds etc.... I soooooooo wish I were better with a camera. I'm getting ready to move to France in Sept. and would love to capture and share moments with friends and family here. Oh well, there's always hope I guess. Take care, Elizabeth

I grew up in a small town. I went to Uni. I started taking pictures afterwards in 2000. Several cross country road trips and 3 summers in the Sierra Nevada forced me to fall in love with the outdoors. In 2004 I began working full time, taking advantage of every free weekend and holiday while liquidating my yearly vacation for bigger trips to other countries.
