Hello Erin,
I found your blog this morning and was entertained by your abilities to eat anything. I'm fairly daring but some of the things you've mentioned are not on my list of have to. Any way, I sensed your frustration because you could not find Hoi An. You can edit your blog so you have the correct town. Go into your control panel. Click on blogs, hit edit text, once you get to South Central Coast then select Quang Nam, then you will find Hoi An. So many countries have these smaller provinces and it makes it tough to find the town sometimes. I hope this is helpful to you.

Centipede

Scutigera centipede
I've seen these in caves in Thung Salang Luang National Park. They are the top predator in many cave environments. I know about them because I worked with a British Volunteer(European Service Organization(EUSO)) who was a cave expert told me all about them. I have a picture of one in my Thailand Insect Gallery.

Hi Erin, I enjoyed your blog, the pictures are absolutly beautiful. While you are having very hot weather, a tornado was spotted 16 miles from Toms River. Michael's been working at the office for your Dad these past 2 weeks, so it's been nice for me to talk to him while he is there.Looking forward to your next blog Love A.N.

Missing America?
Well to be honest I am having to much fun to really be missing America. Of course I miss my friends and family, sometimes I long for a conversation I can understand, but what has really been killing me most of all.. the lack of cheese. Yes cheese is the think I miss most! It just doesn't seem to exist here. As my mouth begins to water with the distant memory of how scrumptious cheese is I must end this comment before I become to depressed with the lack of cheese here in Thailand!

Favorite Meal
So it is tough to say what my favorite meal is mostly because I usually don't know what I am eating! Most of the soups are really awesome and surprisingly once you take off the head and legs of the crickets they aren't bad!

Shout out to St. Paul's
Hey Guys!! Thanks so much for the comment and thanks even more for the cards. I just got them today and each and every one of them is beautiful! It put a smile on my face AND the faces of all the ladies I work with. As for the soccer festival, we came in 3rd place but I'm hoping for number 1 next year! Miss you guys!

Song Kran sounds wet & wild. Sounds like you had fun. So interesting to see how other cultures live. Wouldn't have known if it wasn't for your informative & fun blog. Admire your sense of adventure & your ability to roll with the punches. Not knowing where people are taking me & not understanding the language would make me very nervous. Keep up the good work. Linda (work with your Mom in PACU)
