I do agree Hi guys
just got back from Palolem in Goa!
I do agree with the feedback about Big Bamboo bar and its staff!
I was travelling with a group of 10 people and we almost spent all the time there.
I have to admit I have never met such kind people. Food was incredible and they did not overcharged us during New Year's eve for dinner (jumbo prawns, king fish, calamari and much more!!).
By the way the bar manager Deepu is now also running a small "resort" called Manfredi's. 10 simple and spacious huts really close to the bar!!!
Hello I was searching for blog written on Chandigarh. Yeah people are friendly especially to foreigners... I like the comment on one of your pictures "These guys wanted to buy Helen but they didn't have enough money.". did you visit Panjab University?

Just thought i would leave this message to say how lovely it was to meet you two and spend christmas together ..... what a sand man and just remember mine and steves team won rounders ha ha anyway add me on facebook and then we can keep in touch xx
Just such an incrdible journey I can't read these any more without getting a lump in my throat - you really are going on such an incredible journey. I think of myself as a reasonably educated person but am learning so much just by reading these blogs. Love all the pictures - I can see how you'd like to stay in this place for a very long time....love you x x x
I am about to eat a bowl of crunchy nut cornflakes because I can't be arsed with cooking (plus I'm getting skinny - I'll be fat again by the time you come back so you'll recognise me) but oh my god how jealous am I?!
I would eat everything you talked about, minus the chilli and live tiger prawn in the picture.
Are you coming back to Malaysia in your trip... it would be nice to see you, it's nothing to do with the food honest.
This is what all your entries should be like, never mind teaching kids, we have them in our country as well - boring! Only kidding Steve, very interesting, sounds challenging. x
Beautiful pics, well apart from the snake eeek. I am like Helen if not worserer (sorry had to try and sneak a little fake Bristolian in ) and will now have nightmares from one pic. x
ah steve you are so like dad with all your history! its great! thats all so interesting i had no idea about it all, good job its not like that now eh while your still there!! xx
Just Incredible....... ...reading this one brought tears to my eyes so to actually experience it....makes me realise the ignorant bliss that we live in every day. Miss you, love you x x x x
TUBING!!! Hey guys!! man i am so jealous.. your travel blog looks amazing. Its bringing back some seriously cool memories. Vang vien and those cheesey bars with constant friends and family guy. Told you tubing is great fun. looks like the currents were alot stronger for your trip. When me and lou went in places the river was so low we ended up scraping are fat arses on the rocks below!
Man get to the islands as soon as. Bangkok is one sweaty city you are gonna love it down there. I know youve probably already planned this but if your doing your padi diving course koh tau is a great island for it. so chilled and wicked people down there. i learnt with banns diving school. they do a deal if you do the course with them they give you free air conditioned accomodation. Sweeet.
Anyway im waffling a bit..... keep those pics coming and good luck with the long boats!!
stay cool guys
