Beautiful place
The scenery is gorgeous - love the waterfalls and lakes. Do you have a traveling partner - or just by yourself?

Good luck with getting ready to go...
... and have a safe flight. I have really enjoyed your blog. Thanks for doing this, Sue. It was so interesting to learn about what goes on behind the scenes at the Olympics. I'm glad this worked out so well for you, in spite of being ill for so long. Hope to see you soon!

So Interesting
Thanks, Sue, for your good reporting, both on what you're doing, the buses, the events. It sounds great. I'm glad you got to do this and that you're feeling better. Have fun!

Iditarod
At Iditarod, I'm volunteering at Lakefront at a the registration desk on the 28th, at the Airstrip for the ceremonial start, then in Willow for registration at the cabin, then daily on the Com team. After I posted the comment, I noticed your Olympics posts. You're an inspiration! ;-)

Iditarod.
Have fun in Alaska & maybe I'll see you next year.

Iditarodding again?
Hi Sue, I came across your blog as I was building my own for my trip to volunteer at the Iditarod. I haven't had a chance to read the entire blog yet, but am enjoying it. Do you happen to be going back there this year? I leave in about a week for Anchorage. Pat

Iditarod
Glad you are going. I'm not going this year because I'm a volunteer for the winter Olympics in S. Korea. I'll be gone over 5 weeks and just couldn't commit to Iditarod this year. I will be back next year. What will you be doing?

So Fun!
Glad you are feeling better and seeing all of the events (that you can make your way to). We are enjoying watching everything on TV - especially the figure skating. I felt bad for our American skater who only got one stuffed animal thrown after his performance. Thanks for keeping us up to date!

Korean Queen Outfit
I like the dress you are wearing!
15th February 2018

YAY!
Glad to hear you're back to work. Hope it continues to go smoothly. Interesting insights on the events and practice sessions. Have fun!

Wow
Wow, glad you're doing better. Say hi to team USA for us. Couple of the local stations here have crews over there. Maybe you'll end up on TV here!
13th February 2018

Woo Hoo! You're better!
Too bad about the quarantine, but I trust that, by now, you're cleared to go back to work. Thanks for the ongoing updates + photos. Enjoying the behind the scenes "intel." Hope you're back at work and give us some more scoops of life behind the Olympics scenes.
12th February 2018

Glad to hear you are feeling better to be out and about enjoying the sights!
10th February 2018

party time!
Glad you are feeling better. Looks like you and your new friends and roomies had a good time - yumm - Heineken beer!

Opening Ceremony
Enjoy the photos - what great costumes. Sorry you missed the opening ceremony, Sue. Hope you're back on your feet soon. Most annoying, I'm sure. It doesn't look like you are at a super high altitude, but any altitude can make those upper respiratory illnesses more difficult. Good luck! Interesting article. I heard one of the first events was curling between the US Team and the Team formerly known as the Russian Team!

Your health
I hope you feel better soon. What a bummer to be sick after going all that way :(. Take care

ceremonial outfits
Those are quite the ceremonial outfits the Koreans are wearing. I heard on the news tonight about the virus going around. Yours sounds like upper respiratory rather than the other intestinal. Hope you recover quickly to be able to enjoy the Olympics.
