Trip extended Your trip sounds wonderful. One thing I noticed about Australians is that when you travel it is not just a week vacation somewhere. You seem to go big time. I can't wait to hear about it and learn from your travels. Good Luck and Happy Travels.
If there is one thing I do when I retire it will be to travel more. Have you also travelled to Canada. We have beautiful sites hear too; however, nothing beats Europe in my opinion.
Re Trip extended Hi Helen,
Thank you for joining us and for leaving us a comment. We will look forward to these and hope we get lots as we go along. :) You are right about travelling Australians. Adventurous by nature and travelling for longer periods than most, probably has something to do with us having to fly long distances to get anywhere else in the world (except New Zealand) that, once there, we want to make the most of it and see as much as we can. Also helps that working Aussies get at least 4 weeks holiday a year. Yes, we have been to Canada several times and just love it. Looks just like the pictures in books or on postcards. :) We also have very good friends there as well. Jan
Wow!! Hi Mal & Ron,
You both know how persuasive our daughter can be :) Not that we usually need a lot of persuading where travel is concerned. She know us only too well! :) and, if we don't enjoy ourselves, we only have ourselves to blame. :) Love, Jan & Ted xxx
Come with us !! OK Ski Set,
We are packed and ready for our trip with you, what's going on two blogs in two days, slow down, not only are we having to write and publish Kangaroojack's (tails) but we are now reading yours with comments.
Great blog (Show off) hope you have a wonderful trip and happy travels to you and Mr Teddy.
Love to you all.

Getting nervous now ..... Hi Garry & Linda,
How lovely for you to join us via KJ. Thank you. They are great friends of ours and we love them dearly and certainly have had some great times together. We miss them like crazy. Thank heavens for TB :)
Wow!! All of a sudden - we have a following .... and, we haven't even done anything yet. No pressure at all! .... :)
Like anything new, it's all a bit daunting and I'm certainly no technocrat but, I'm sure I'll get the hang of it, I know enough to find my way around a computer so, that's a start. :)
Looking forward to joing the TB family. Went to the TB get-together here in Sydney a few weeks ago and met some other fellow bloggers who made me feel very welcome and embraced me into the TB family. Now, all I have to do is to "come up with the goods" :)
Pleased that you had a wonderful time here in Oz. We certainly do have a huge country with so much to see. We've seen a lot of it but, no where near all of it.
Ted and I have been to Canada several times and loved each visit. We have good friends there.
Thanks again for your welcome. We appreciate it.
See you on the blog! :)

Addictions come in many forms. For us – it’s always been travel. Whether it be a week here and there holidaying in Oz with family or travelling the world to far-flung and exotic places.
We have been very fortunate to have visited many countries throughout the world as well as also having seen much of Australia by trains, planes and automobiles (and also motorhome) but, still lots more to see. We haven’t even scratched the surface of this vast, magnificent country of ours.
Our children (and now also grand-children) also share our passion ... full info
