GRANADA Mio - Pace Preference My first day in Granada has led me to use my CQ Strategy in reflecting on my preference for Southern Spanish culture (Livermore, 2009). Culture Smart explains that "the further south you go, the more relaxed the people become" (Meaney & Viguer, 2016, p. 46), and I've found it to be personally more enjoyable. In the city, I felt more anxiety and pressure to always be busy, but now that I'm in a slower paced society, I feel at ease. Walking around and interacting with the people in Granada feels more natural. I am learning that I crave a calmer way of life over the constant buzz of the city.
