Friend in New York I can't tell you how much I enjoyed your trip. After Kathmandu I couldn't find any of the sites on the map that I have so will have to pursue that. You are such a lucky young lady to have had this opportunity thank you for sharing it with us.
book the flight! of course this from a woman who once walked up to the Range's Station on the south rim looking for any into-the-canyon pass for backpacking and happened to be in line behind someone who had to cancel because of a broken leg and just by chance I could mnage their trail commitment - but unless you are looking for the total karmic experience, book the flight and don't leave it to chance. it'll ease the mind and leave you only to worry about things that will not be working as well as hoped for when you get to that juncture. mom
