Hostels in Rome We are staying at a camping hostel outside of the main city. It kind of sucks to get there; you can't just step outside and go somewhere, you have to take a shuttle to the train station then it's about a half an hour ride to the center of the city. But the hostel is great, there is free internet and is generally just a good place to stay. It's called Camping Tiber, I would recommend it!
I hear you, Leah I'm a mosquito magnet too - it really sucks! And to add to that I'm a compulsive scratcher, so when they itch like crazy, it can't help it! Florence sounds fun and I get a kick out of the European strikes! Hope you're both having fun! Eat plenty of gelato for me please!
Hey love! Hey hey, I got internet to work! through the phone line so im just hoping noone picks it up. Haha it took me about an hour to get to this page and load it.
Well Venice is very beautiful and im glad you love it. Lake Tahoe is doing well the Fourth was fun we had a box of fireworks we lit off and all the casinos over at South Lake always do a really big show which we can see from the beach at or house. Hope you are having a wonderful time in Florence where I believe you ar currently. I am so sorry I missed your calls, call again! i haven't had my phone on me much but now i do! so try again. Hopefully you get on facebook soon or just try calling again but yeah. I wish i was there with you too but unfortunately i'm not. I'm thinking of you though as we watch movies and lay on the sunny beach with the beautiful clear Tahoe water :/. Although its a bit smokey now because of all the fires, sometimes its pretty bad but sometimes it nearly all leaves the lake it has been changing periodically. Next time you are going to come here with me, definately. There are lots of peoples most heading home in the next day or two like we are. I'll be driving hom all of tomorrow leaving at like 5 in the morning so feel free to call then! maybe 4 actually since my brothers have to catch a plane flight out of reno at 5:30 or something.
I Love you! and can't wait till you get home. It feels soon. I was talking to my cousins trying to go waterskiing up at Lake Shasta next weekend but then I realized that was already my orientation for the U so that wont happen. Ok im done have a lovely rest of the trip in Italia, Firenze, Roma, Venezia wherever your at :p.
Love you and miss you from Lake Tahoe,
Stefano

I've heard Croatia is nice, but by the way you've described it, it sounds amazing! I can't believe you got an apartment for $20!! That's awesome! Hope you ride a gondola in Venice!!
Sounds like you're having fun! Les Choristes in German? I bet that was interesting and that Pépinot doesn't seem as incredibly adorable with a German accent! Gelato and the Beatles in Europe - nothing beats that! Keep on with the adventure!
Loving your travelogs We are so enjoying your play-by-play on your way through Europe.
What a treat to meet wonderful people, see great sites and know there is so much more to come! Thanks for taking to time to keep us up-to-date on your whereabouts. And keep 'em coming. Hugs.
Wear your sunscreen!! Hello, my little lobster! Sounds again like the time of your life!
Did you go to Pletvitse? No mention in your blog, and I thought it was a "must see" on your list.
So it's off to Italy, have a wonderful time and (old saying by now), have some chocolate gelato for me.
Hug Sara for me....
Love, Mom
Hey my Leah! Sounds like a fun time. Glad your tummy is better. Eat some Gelato for me, and my favorite has to be the Limonade' and the best is in Italy! Are you all going to explore some country side too? Or just the city life for you? Pat and I found the most wonderful folks a bit off the beaten path, if there is a way to get there. Maybe small town stops?
Love you fiercely!
Margy
