Alive in Vienna

Hello all,

Just wanted to send a quick post saying that we are alive in Vienna. Watching the game at the Euro FanZone was awesome beyond awesome...despite the thunder and lightning. When we were in line for the match, the security people who were patting us down got to talk to us and Leah mentioned to her's that we were at a loss of where to stay. At the end of the match, the girl offered us a place at her apartment for the night...quite the upgrade from the aforeplanned train station. So we are here, getting ready for bed, after watching Les Choristes in German with her Schilla (sp?) and her boyfriend, Alex (who's half-Italian). More later as we haven't done a whole lot else. Our last night in Prague was great: we watched Turkey vs. Germany on the big screen, drinking Fanta and eating gelato while listening to (guess what..) THE BEATLES on the EuroMatch loud speaker. Could things get any better??? Love and hugs, we'll inform you of any other spontaneous decisions we manage to make 😊

Hey my Leah! Sounds like a fun time. Glad your tummy is better. Eat some Gelato for me, and my favorite has to be the Limonade' and the best is in Italy! Are you all going to explore some country side too? Or just the city life for you? Pat and I found the most wonderful folks a bit off the beaten path, if there is a way to get there. Les Choristes in German? I bet that was interesting and that Pépinot doesn't seem as incredibly adorable with a German accent! Gelato and the Beatles in Europe - nothing beats that! Keep on with the adventure!
