up up and away!! So glad to hear that you are finally on your way! You really made the most of the situation and I bet that you could hire on as tour guides!! I have to admit that I really enjoyed reading all of your posts as I battled thru jet lag........... Our trip was outstanding!! We saw 38 different species of animals..not including reptiles and birds. The people on our tour (19 of us in all) were great. Couldn't have asked for a better group!! Tour guides were amazing! I still can't understand how they could see something at 50km hiding in a bush!! But they did!! Lodging, meals, and weather were all on our side too! I understand how Mother and Dad loved the Maasii ....but it amazes me that with all the outside influence they are still living as nomads! Anyway, Happy Trails to you!! Hope you love San Antonio...I do!
Free at Last. ,!! Glad you are free at last. Leave it to you guys to leave on a day we will always remember. Glad you are on you way and looking forward to upcoming blogs. Drive safely and if Lulu wants to to stay somewhere on your travels give her my best and tell her I will miss her (hint hint)
Light at end of tunnel ! Well I thought when I read a new blog you would be on the road leaving Red Bay as a fond memory. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, you will be leaving soon and seeing the rest of the country and I envy you guys. Have a good time.
Hurray !! Hope all goes well when you return to your Red Bay home! We are still sitting at home hoping nothing stops our trip to Tropical Palms. We really missed our chance to travel this summer but there is always TP to keep us happy. Have a great trip!
Patience is a virtue? You guys are my HEROS ! Walt and I would be on our way to divorce court. He is more relaxed and I would be climbing walls at this point. I am glad you are finding some enjoyment out of the situation. I do see Lulu is till with you ,I was kind of hoping she wouldnt like the situation and run away fro home! I can see the eyes watching me starting in January! Well have a good time and keep smiling!
Lulu Sends Her Love Glad you are hanging with us....even though we aren't where we thought we would be...it's been fun. I guess it's all how you make it....wish you were with us. Lulu is looking everywhere for you. I told her she will find you in January.

monster vine That monster vine is called kudzu and yes it sounds just the way it is spelled. Down here in the south they use it for craft wreaths like grape vines up north. Love your adventures in the parking lot I hope they get you painted and on your way. Love to play where's Lulu (how did she get named that?) and mom would have been 98 she's been gone physically for15 years but she is always here in spirit. Love to you and may your feet hit the metal on the pedals soon!
We used to live in the Western part of NY, close to PA border. Have been married 59 years. We have four fabulous children (Lory, Kim, Cory, Tim). They have given us nine terrific grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. All families live in N.Y. We are retired...Cory was VP of Human Resources...Sandy was an R.N. We now live in our 2008 Phaeton RV full time and are loving it! In 2012 we lost our beloved dog, Chip - our chocolate lab. He was our dear traveling companion. He was almost 13 years old. His memory will travel with us wherever we go. We winter in Florida at Tropical Palms RV Park in ... full info
