Wish I were there!!! I am so sorry I didn't snap up the invite to meet in ElPaso.. Oh well I didn't need to be the 5th wheel but I am so-o-o- jealous. Love that country!!( Rick too)...have a full feed of Tex Mex and "Marg's" for me as you indulge.. Hugs Mom
so, does that mean .... ... that the residents of chaco canyon were in range for that cell phone guy? " can you hear me now?" lol
as far as that river wash goes, I have always been tempted to pee in one of them and see if it really becomes deadly :)
the pics are lovely. what you are traversing in a day took weeks in a conestga. I hope you hace AC
hey! wait a moment I hope you looked around to see what the cliff dwellers had to work with. Not exactly rich fertile grounds. I think they did fair square. Oh and as far as southwestern eggs benedict, pfft. lol. glad you are enjoying the weather, maybe it will snow before you get home. :))
a spring is always a delightful discovery The only thing as nice as the miracle of water falling from the sky unbidden is when it gushes from an unlikely rock face, gurggling happily down to make flowers and even potatos, lol. Wonderful pics, hope the jet sreams wends a little south to cool your foray into the southwest!
Nice score ! Playing 7 holes is ONE way to lower your score. :) BTW, you shouldn't complain about the mosquitos; aren't they the Canadian National Bird? Be safe. Bob
excellent planning Looks like your vacation has an excellent beginning!! We just returned from a week of camping with a rented campervan. Yah, I managed to get Dana away from his computer for nearly 7 days.... amazing. We learned alot on our first RV experience and I think I did a good job of planning our trip. Saw Joan, Dave, Kathleen and Addison, they are doing well. Exciting to renew our friendship. Looking forward to reading of your trip and seeing how far you guys drive each day and what sights you are taking in. Drive carefully and have a great time!!
Love Laurie
Bonjour de France Nous sommes bien contents de vous savoir arrivés à bon port.
Je pense que Sandi va avoir beaucoup de travail pour faire un résumé de tout ce qu'ils ont vécu en France. A bientôt
Looks like you have some ... budding artists there! I was surprised to see how often potatos were on your menu choice. I genereally don't think of French cuisine and potato.
You have a nice time in Paris and we'll chat soon.
I guess I have to change this profile for my next trip which starts July 24 and ends August 8. I am driving with my husband from Calgary, Alberta down to Alpine, TX to visit my brother. We will be seeing some awesome sights and meeting some new friends from the internet as well as some relatives along the way. Looking forward to doing the "Margarita Trail" (the drive from Alpine, TX to Devner, CO via Santa Fe and Taos, NM - we know where all the best margartia spots are along the way!) again! Long drive but worth every kilometer!!... full info
