great experience at the Maharani Textiles shop I and my two companions thought this would be another case of the Indian hustle - have a seat, some tea and we will tell you our story, no pressure to buy. At this point, we were pretty shopped out, having spent a lot more than we had anticipated, already. To some extent it was that, but the difference was we soon saw we were getting exceptional value for the money here. We all bought hundreds of dollars worth of textiles, of various sorts, to have shipped back to Canada and filled out a FedEx shipping document on the spot, which was encouraging. In my case, I was back in Canada four days later and my purchase was at my door the day after that, very nice, unlike other purchases that I had to send repeated emails to get the shipping info on. I am trying to contact the store to make other purchases, if possible, because many of my friends would like to buy their products, especially the shawls. I would recommend the shop highly.
Recommending the centre? Hi,
Thanks for sharing. I loved to read your story. I am thinking about doing taking a course and are in search of a centre. Would you recommend this one?
Best regards,

great entry Hi!
You depict Mui Ne very well:). I am stranded here for 4 days too, but it is more my own fault. And, oh the lonely feeling of the lonesome traveller...Yes, movies have saved me, more than once:). I just love it how you 'bullied' someone to have dinner with you...:). I am so...effing...shy...oh, I do not want to inconvenience anybody!!!
Anyway, great post, it helps me through my lonely travels..Thanks!

Urinal That is so cool! Having a little urinal in thje Ladies Room for little boys is just SUCH a good idea. It means a stall isn't wasted being occupied by a mother or sister trying to get her son or brother to pee while we all wait in line behind! Also might provide a bit of cabaret for those of us lining up for the stalls!
If there IS a stall in the men's room for little girls, I hope the men are banned from using it. I had to take my niece into a men's room in mexico, and after telling her to close her eyes as we wandered past the men and boys (!), I ushered her into a stall and it was FILTHY.
Brace yourselves! Sasha 's coming back! Just kidding! We're all digging up mortars etc. Can I join the Blender Brigade? I can throw in a grain mill for porridge à la Carte!
Met you at Amichi's Asram when you were making Cappochinos at the Western Canteen. The first time I saw you I knew you had a bright smile, and when we kept running into each other and finally talked, I found you a pleasing person.
Again, we met on the cliffs at Varkala and hung out a little for dinners there.
You went on to SouthEast Asia and I journyed to Turkey and Israel.
We went our separate ways but you journal has allowed me to keep in touch fora awhile.
Now you are headed back home. I wish you Bon Voyage and may your return be easy and peaceful and may you make use of all the lessons you learned along the way
