Love it...
ikke.
Revisiting Varanasi Your writing had a feel of the place, where I had gone last Jan. What makes Varanasi unique is the celebration of life and death. Have heard of a mountain in Japan where the old people go to die. Varanasi too absorbs the time-offed men. Didnt quite get what u meant by Hindu language. It must be Hindi you were referring to. In Saranath you can find inscriptions in the original Pali and languages from all Buddhist countries.
My trip is documented in http://travelblog.org/Bloggers/Dejavu
Looking forward to read your post on Khajuraho, because that is my next destination.

Did it! (doing it again?) So you made it and whilst you were there i was back here and wondering about you, how your thought must have passed by during all those silent days. It has been a hectic three weeks together with all the travelling and the chaos, and when i was home, everything seemed so unrealasticaly organised and calm, so calm, cold, distant. Hard to believe i miss the indian warmth of human contact, as decieving as it is all the time, at least, it gets to your head as champagne bubbles, and shows you an order beyond imagination, beyond the hassle and the chaos, the needy and the greedy, the treachery and the fake. Huh, i'm letting my thoughts wander off to much. I have learned a lot about India, about what i wanted in life and about myself. Can you believe, in just three weeks. Wow girl you will be so drasticaly changed when you come back to us after many many monhts. I just wished i could have stayed longer with you though i am in love with life again, after all, and that is the best of all rewards. I came back tired but full of energy, and savouring each moment more then ever. For that i am gratefull and also to you. I will miss you a lot, and will count the weeks before you come back and will be eager to read everything you post, and i still love you lots even though we had some serious, ahum, disagreements, sometimes. I hope you will be able to keep up a good mood, and a lot of courage to fight your way through this beautifull journey.
Blessed Silence India has made me crave silence like no other country. I envy you the 10 days of not talking and hope it leads to a modicum of peace. Let me know what it's like to utter those first few words after the course. Definately decided I 'may' not go back to the US. Interesting blog. Later.
kus
Vipassana Meditation Namaste Sas,
Haal adem
Oh ja... het vereist overgave :-)))
Tot over 11 dagen

i'm happy to read you are getting the good 'vibe' to hang around in that other world, at least that is what i read in between your lines.. furthermore, enjoy all things that are thrown towards you at this moment in your life and remember,.. not too manny people get to know the wonderfull feeling to sleep under a wonderfull bed of stars, understanding you are butt a little piece of 'sand' underneath the milkway ... so scratch it in your mind with a rusty nail, over and over again ! xxx ivan xxx
El Aghred Teche Bessa Hoi sash, doodmoe hier, zware werkdagen...
Kus.
Mmm Camel, Shit and Scarabees Hi Sabrina (and Gaelle),
Sounds that you are going fine, wished I was there!
Oh... those humble Mestkevers (Dung beetles), they were immortalized by the Egyptians as amulets, as they were thought to be connected with new life and rebirthing...
I hope that your stool is normal again ;-p
Looking forward to you further blogs, I luv em!!
xxx Rutgerius
swinging Hi Sabrina - it really looks like you are getting into the swing of things .. (on the Indian adventure) now.
It sounds like you are having fun notwithstanding the people, the elements and tummy trouble.
best regards Ross and Tracey
leuk Hoi,
Ben es komen piepen naar de site. Leuk gedaan.
Fijn.
Nu nog een fototje van sas hé !
groetjes en tot lezen...
Ha meisje.. Hey gurl
You know... You are doing pretty well, in this challenging sub-continent. You're coping with situations that are far-off from your daily life in Belgium. Pls keep in mind that EU life is protected, in a way, and there you are prey.. wallet on girly-legs and walking on girley-legs ;-)
I remember being in the Ghandi, museum, but I'm pretty sure that they added his steps after 1993.. I bet I'd seen them when I was there if they were there too but I didn't *giggles*
I'd say, take your time in Jaisalmer! All of Rajasthan is pretty, if not "photo-genique" ;-) ... the Fort, Pond, Jain temple.. etc etc
Separately I will send you a personal email..
Happy travels!
xxx, R

ik bewonder nog steeds je moed dat je dit allemaal aandurft,had ik maar een tiende van wat jij bezit.ik ga niet verder dan me terugtrekken in een klooster in nederland maar k dank dat jij door de tijd dat je er bent je werkelijke ik zal tegen kome.Geniet van alles wat je meemaakt,vooral van je innerlijke rust ( hoewel die soms zoek is door het hectische daar);
kus
yes, it was a wild ride... hey girl !!!
just wanted to check in and say that you were not exaggerating the monsoon adventure. It was fun to read that and relive it. I have to rest today from it because it really did take a lot out of me. I think I was hopped up on pure adrenalin at the time, but this afternoon I just crashed realizing that the tire of the jeep clunked as we narrowly missed going down the mountain side.
I wish I had taken a picture of the lovely shade of purplish blue your lips turned. Yes, that's when I started to panic.
My shoes are starting to stink today from being soaked walking through so many water streams.
maybe see you in Delhi?
love
Donna Elaine
Great-things Hooi Sabrina,
Dikke kus,
Anneke
Hi Hi Sabrina, so glad I can join you on your trip this way. I know I'll never go there myself, but the pics and the journal really make me a bit part of all the beauty in that amazing world so different from ours. Lots of knuffels (from "Tijgertje" too ;-)) - Anne-Marie
Take care!
