Photo permissions request Hello, I am a photo researcher working on a Grade 7 Science unit on Silk and Sericulture for the
Ross School in East Hampton, New York. We would like to use your image of the cocoons added to boiling water for an online, classroom Powerpoint presentation. Can you please advise if you can grant permission to use/license this image? Today is Sunday, June 16 and the project is closing so a reply would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Sorry for the late reply Unfortunately I have not visited my blog admin page for some time. If it is still useful for you, you are very welcome to use this picture for your PowerPoint presentation. Thank you for asking and I hope that you find it useful.
Best regards
Shaun
miss you & karma Hey Shaun, miss our talks at OMP; we have alot in common going ons in our life or mid-life crisis.... yep me too! Karma is when you showed up first walking down from OMP office and I never met you nor know of you, and we shook hands at OMP and you said "you know, I got an email from you." OMG! Small world that I would actually meet one of you travel bloggers out there! Talk about Karma! Keep positive...we are all in this together!

Goodwill Goodwill never lost, you are right, Karma good or bad has a way of closing the circle.
I lost £300 cash once and just had to hope that the person who found it needed it a great deal better than me!
I loved the photos of the silk farmer by the way. I have sent that to my sons. You know you could probably make a little money for the charity by offering to do talks and slide shows to schools or community groups in this country, you are very informative!
Repatriation ? Hi Tiger, not long to go now before you need to start heading back home. It's almost like resurfacing after a deep sea dive....need to come back to the surface gradually, take it easy, don't lose touch with those feelings, don't fall back into the westerner trap to quickly - your blood sugar levels might soar........ That said and done....do you fancy going to the British speed-way Grand Prix in Cardiff on the 28th of June then on to the after party event with all the famous bikers in the evening ( all tickets with compliments from Nick) ? Well what do you say...you could thrill Brian and myself in the pub with your exploits....before entering the stadium (too noisy after that :) ). Oh yeah...about what I said at the start....nothing wrong with diving straight back into the westernised way of living as soon as possible either!! :) Let me know so I can organise a ticket for you. Steve PS. Can I ghost write your memoirs for you and star as you in the film? Oh go on, go on, go on, go on !! see ya soon

Damn those scouse taxi drivers! Hi Steve, it's good to here from you, and glad you had a great time. If you would like to write my biography you are very welcome :-) I must admit t's true what Jazek said, you really don't need all of that extra cargo, + I have been bailed out by my Thai friends. I hope to be able to put up some more photo's soon - just to make you jelous of course! Still, I'l be back home in 3 weeks, so we'll have to catch up over a pint.
Cheers!
Not a scoucer in sight ! Hi Tiger,
Just got back from Dubai after a week and thought I had troubles with my post holiday blues.... until I caught up with your blog and read about that scoundrel of a taxi driver (was he wearing a shell suit, mussy and curly hair?). I can joke - knowing you are OK is THE most important thing. What an absolute pain in the a%&£ but a great response from Jacek about no better way to lose your luggage!! With a little poetic licence this could be made into a great yarn, fable, story - to tell the grand kids how Tiger Toms fought off bandits riding an elephant with only his bare hands and the help of his trusted companion - his pet king cobra....I can be your editor if you want!!
Seriously, great to hear you are OK and don't worry about the pictures... they only made us all even more jealous of your fantastic adventure :)
Take care Tiger,
Steve
Camera I have a spare, but did not have leads or charger. Have now got an adapter for charging, just need a lead to download.
I hope all is well for you & Tony. I am looking forward to seeing you both soon.

Intrepid Traveller Well, at least you are OK!
Its a real pain to lose stuff that you think you rely on, but once its gone you realise what is really important - your health and your loved ones. I had a bad house fire once and lost a lot of stuff, so do understand this one.
You have had some fantastic opportunities this trip, and unless I'm way off the mark here, found a very special lady too? You have memories to last a life time, and whatever you do next, I'm sure these experiences will have changed you for the better.
Keep posting, the words are just as welcome as the pictures - and keep in touch once you're back.
Thank you for those words of wisdom Jacek..... ...... that realy makes me feel much better!
I really am back to basics now but making the most of it.
Cheers
Shaun
The best entry ever !!!! Shaun - this is the best entry in your TravelBlog!!! You could lose your luggage on your way back in Terminal 5, but this way of losing luggage is much more in Indiana Jones style!!! Now you are transformed from a western tourist into a real tough and bold man.
Greetings from webmaster of www.katzer.pl
It is now time for a new adventure. This time I have decided to raise money for Willen Hospice in Milton Keynes.
The plan is to ride 2,500km through the Western Ghats of India, starting in Goa, and ridding through Karnataca, Kerala and Tamal Nardu. We will be steering clear of main roads and using local trails as far as possible and hope to find some unusual off the beaten track places.
If you enjoy my blog, please make a donation at: http://www.justgiving.com/Shaun-Toms
The trip is funded by myself so all proceeds will go to Willen Hospice.... full info
