When I was in 7th and 8th grade, my grandparents took me to Canada and Naples, FL for vacation. They loved to travel and I was extremely blessed to have been asked to travel with them these two years. They introduced me to five star resturants, hotels that touched the sky, and the wonders of the interstate from the back seat of a car.
I lost my grandma several years ago, and my grandpa passed away last June. While my husband and I have always loved to take short trips, introducing our kids to the world was beginning to get a little cramped from the back seat of the pickup pulling our travel trailer. With the help of inheritance moneys and our camper as trade, on May 30, 2013, we purchased our first used RV--a Winnebago 33T. It is with great pride that this small Missouri family passes on the tradition of travel to our kids. The more places you go, the more things you know. May this blog not only document our travels, but help others traveling with kids. (This profile picture was our last picture with our beloved camper. My daughter and I cried when we closed the door for the last time. Even at the young age of 8, so many great memories were made here.)
