Crazy Crazy kids, but Beryl is right about the stranger being friends. Pierre don't tell your mum about jumping out of perfectly good planes with wings and wheels still attached, I never did.

Hi it was nice to see the falls specially the video Dad was totally impressed. I wonder how long before he wants to go.How lovely that the weather is nice over there we're freezing at the moment. It would be a little too hot for me specially with that humidity.
We're so glad your having a good time in Argentina it sounds fab.
Speak soon love mum and dad
washing clothes well washing clothes isn't as hard as you might think... I wash mine by giving it to the hotel reception, who charge us per Kg. Nic on the other hand hasn't washed since we left the UK....she is too scared of ruining her delicates....
chocolate and condors Loved reading your adventures with the condor trying to eat P but thinking better of it - hope you're feeling better and you found some chocolate - can't wait to see the pics - good to speak with you - you can't possible be missing home or can you and how do you get your washing done?
Love you lots

Amazon order confirmation: One kilo of bolivian marching powder... Those images of rubber gloves and firmly gripped ankles reminded me of your eighteenth, young man. Ahhh, those heady Barrovian summers...
I really think you should return to the floating island and ask to see the paperwork and planning application for a 'type 4c dwelling transfer' - Remember, Dowsett, you are British, and we are all responsible for the Queen's standards being maintained, dear boy. Even if it is Johnny Foreigner...
While you're at it, get a bloody refund from the cheeky chappie who overcharged you eightpence, and soundly thrash him to boot. Can't have standards slipping, what.

Having fun What fab pictures, would have loved to try that sandboarding and the Oasis looks great only problem is too much sand and where is the nearest shop to buy my smokes.
Keep having fun love mum
Lines...
Those Nasca lines are much more Detailed than i remember, that last one looks precisely like a hairy arm with a cheap watch on it - The Ancient peruvians were truely a remarkable people...
What an adventure Its great to read about your adventures and the photos are great, takes us away from the realiity of everyday life for a while! Onwards to your next instalment, much love.
Inca trail Well what can I say - you did it - you have recaptured it so well and I enjoyed reading your adventure - pics look amazing, wonderful views and you all so pleased with yourselves. Happy Friday!! Hello little cherubs!! Happy to see that you have arrived safely and that I can navigate this blog site very easily, a good choice indeed! Nic that is more than a grande latte, looks delicious!! Yours in anticipation of much more news from afar XX
ps... Have you been to greens yet? does it still exist? can you take a picture of the breakfast there, and post it. I want to know if it is as glorious as i remember it, or whether it was more to do with having been on the trail for four days previously, and actually, a rancid dog would have looked good at that point...
dos cerveza por favor... Thats about the extent of my spanish.
I think nic should be doing the cha-cha on a chu-chu whilst drinking her chi-cha. much more challenging.
good pictures, and a nice "anthropologist with a heart" slant to the journal so far. keep it up.
So glad you have arrived and your exciting journey has begun and I can follow your trip from the office!!!!! are you learning spanish yet and have you started your Inca trail trip - I cannot imagine what its like but I wish I was out of this office. Lots of good luck and love
Take care x
hiya glad you made it safe and sound. surprised you got a piccy of Plaza des Armes so empty.
if you see the little kid who overcharged us for soem 'authentic' sketches tell him i want change. also if you see and another little $hit with a fujifilm digital camera, then that's also ours. if he wants to keep the camera fine but let me have the memory card!
