Arrrrr ye mateys! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Barcelona I hope you got to check out the crazy street market, it is the most put together presentation of food I have ever seen. Sorry that your trip is coming to an end, but I am gonna kick your butt at pool Russ :)
bittersweet Oh Ry - I know the feeling you have right now, and reading the end of your blog this time choked me up a little...I'm so happy you got to do all these amazing things that we have all been reading about for the past six months...I can't wait to share stories - there were so many pictures on the blog that we have the EXACT same picture of - just swap out the people in them...I'm so excited to see you guys, but I'm really sad for you that THIS adventure is over...like you said, always another one beginning - can't wait to see how your time away will shape your adventures to come! Come home! Can't wait to see you!!!!!!

I feel like you guys need a reality TV show.. I love it. All European trips sound like this. I am still laughing. Have a BLAST in Barcelona and please go to La Sagrada Família.. you will die. Can't wait to see you guys soon
Looks like your an old pro..... Ryan, From the looks and sounds, HO-HUMMMM, just another day on the world tour...HO-HUMMMM. You are an experienced vagabond and can roll with the punches now. OK I give it to you now buddy , your a real man. (In a boyish kind of way still...HA!) Hope to hear from you soon when you return.
California Burritos 18 days huh!?! Sounds like the two of you are still having a blast....but get your asses back here already so we can grab some waves together.
Giant Nakedness and not being able to sculpt parts with a straight face? I thought that the two of you would be used to GIANT NAKEDNESS after staying in a room with me for two weeks straight!
Buon Giorno Birthplace of pizza, Napoli is a good time!!! Antica Pizzeria da Michele is one of the most famous, near the train station. They only have two types of pizza....And don't foget the lemoncello.... and pack food with you when you go to Pompeii. The food they sell roadside is crap. You're blog makes me want to go back....Nickel
Circus Did you guys stay at the Circus hostel? That place is like a 4 star hostel but cheap. You guys also need to check out the Kebob’s.. I think they are like 1 Euro and they will keep you full. I can't wait to see you guys. When will you be home? We are heading back down to SD for Thanksgiving so call us up if you are back by then!!!
How Much? Hey dudes, how much was the shooting range? Are we allowed to fire off whole magazines on the AK-47? Or a whole belt of ammo on the M60? Is it cheap or kinda expensive? Thanks.
Gettin real!!! Wow...what an adventure. You guys are really doing the do's of gettin' real. I am so proud of you Ryan!!! Just remember. "What a long strange trip it's been" can carry you soooo far in knowing what is really "real" including the hallucinatory parts!!! Cutlure shock can equal culture shift (yours). Go get it!!!
Sambucca Sorrows I'm still recovering from our rendezvous the other day here in Bangkok. No joke about running in to the same people over and over....Ryan and I ran in to Niki and Joe yesterday on Khao San Road. You can both piss off for even mentioning Sambucca shots...and I hope that the two of you are having fun wherever you are.
Brett
Raging for sure! Wow! This blog is great!! So many great things, especially the guy in Brett's bed, ha ha! Russ you need to try to kiss some Cobras, holy shit! Sweet, glad you guys partied like rockstars with buckets of liquor.
Sounds fun! Sounds like you guys are having a blast. Other countries and their wierd nonproper customs...you must expect to get scammed, bartering is commonplace, and people seem rude, but if you approach it with the right head it all works out.
I'm totally jealous that Ryan and Brett are hangin with you guys...totally...
Proud of you... Ryan,
I am so proud of you. Bali is the gas...Just the picture of the Bintang took me back30 years ago when I first went there...man oh man...How were the sunsets after those mushroom omelets????...as soon as I am done being jealous, I am going to be so proud and happy for your growth and life experience.....
Go get it!
Love you guys Wow - this portion of your trip looks incredible...so happy you're seeing this amazing, heavy, wonderful and sobering stuff...can't WAIT to see you both again - I just flew home from Guatemala this morning.

We are two brothers from Southern California who decided that the time was right to get some serious traveling done. After taking a trip to Fiji in 2006 and meeting some cool people on an around the world trip, we decided we should do the same. So we came back home and started saving. We are two open minded guys, with laid back personalities looking for a little adventure.
