Dalai Lama no Brazil No, I didn't know he was in Brazil. That's great!!! Any chance the press would be interested on an update from a Brazilian in Tibet???
I made new friends from all over the world while travelling. The only old ones I met again where my Tibetan friends.
Beijos and keep in touch

Dalai Lama no Brasil Pat,
Sergio
Drink lots of water, did your headache go away??? Just curious. Mind over matter. Sleep and drink water. Sorry, thats all I can offer, if they had more fruit that would help as well. Love ya, Joy
Great to be in touch! It's wonderful learning the essence of different people, different cultures. It reminds us that we are all different, yet so similar.
Beijos
Polaroid Ola Patricia:
Rita.
There is nothing more spiritually revitalizing than listening and watching the monks during prayer and song. I remember when Eric and I went to Washington to hear the Dhali Lama speak and how it was so enchanting. The drums were mesmerizing as well as their prayer and song. I shall never forget that experience, as you shall never forget yours!! And I am sure yours is truly a more wonderful endeavor!!! Peace--Joy
Of course, I wouldn't miss it for the world. If I can't be there myself the next best thing is someone else's pictures!!! I'm thoroughly enjoying each and every excursion and experience you are able to have through your eyes!! Have a great journey!! Love ya Joy
WOW HOW AMAZING TO BE ABLE TO SEE ANOTHER CULTURE AND LEARN ALL THERE IS ABOUT IT!!!! MEMORIES ARE FOREVER. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE ALL YOUR PICTURES!!! HAVE FUN. LOVE YOU ALL JOY
MISS YA LOOKS LIKE YOU GUYS ARE HAVING A GREAT TIME. WE MISS YOU. CHINA LOOKS INTRIGUING. HAVE A GREAT TIME AND LETS DO THE RIVER WHEN YOU ALL RETURN. LOVE YA JOY
Ni Hao It has been a pleasure sharing some of our moments in China with you.
Unfortunately the internet "cafes" are horrible. Plenty of computers but filled with Chinese smokers and it's hard to understand the comments on the screen. Keep in touch.
beijos
Hello Ni Hao, guys.
Thanks for the comments. It has been really incredible and I recommend anyone to explore another culture. We see and learn so much. Easter: I hope you had a good one. As for me, no bunnies or chocolate eggs to remind me...ooops!
Sergio

hot coke Ola Patricia:
Hoje e sexta-feira santa. Ao inves de vegetarian food, and weird or hot coke vamos comer bacalhoada e beberemos guarana no almoco. Ela esta so aguardando seu visto chegar. Em outubro, devo visita-la la.
Beijos.

The real China This is very similar to my first visit to China about 18 years ago. The vehicles and the people look much more familiar. Glad to see you are seeing the real China and not just Beijing and Shanghai. You are all very brave for riding in China :)

I'm a Brazilian and long time resident of the US.
I've always been fascinated by cultural diversity and I've had the opportunity to travel overseas over the years. 2005, however, brought me the "wings" to fly solo and further away. I started these new jorneys with Tibet (picture). That's huge for someone who used to panic ... full info
