Amsterdam, Amsterdam, Amsterdam Yeah, How comes you havn't mentioned anything about Amsterdam. Tom say's you've been there & usually you dont miss a skip for your 'been-there-done-that travel blog'. What do we want? - Amsterdam, when do we want it? - Now!
Charles Dickinson - 1951 LOL. You Fool. Firstly, you'd never come close to Charles Dickins, hence I compared you to the American childrens book author Dickinson (writes for 7-8 year olds). Secondly, I can fly. Thirdly, You're a guest here & I dont want to have to deal with emotional baggage after a thrashing on the basketball court. 'Nuf Said.
Charles Dickinson? Firstly, Dulal, you don't know what you're talking about. It's Dickens, fool.
2nd, there is no photo enhancing in that picture, I must have just been swept up by a gust of Cornish wind.
3rd, There are plenty of Basketball courts in London, just tell me when.
Trifle is not a desert but the Eiffel Tower in French Spelt Tour Eiffel. For more evidence of Photo editing & enhancement, like the Touche Monsieur & Splice louvre (above), please see the England section pic of the Jump. Even I cant jump that high :-)
Basketball & Jumping Bread & a bar of soap..Gruel & Toast - Charles Dickinson: whose he? You should be with either Penguin (the publisher, not the short fella from Batman) or Hollywood (with your photo enhanced jump - Liz does not look impressed at all actually! :-) ) And PLEEEASE, you cant jump or play Basketball. I'm 5ft & a bit & you squirmished your way out of many a basketball challenges in Africa. Your Reason - Find a basket ball court, excuses, excuses, excuses
Noodle Box A Noodle box is a box that has noodles in it..DUH! Also I think 'you should write a book'.....Sings 'la la la la la is in the air'.... & I thought I was your number one fan; Tilman: Romeo, where art thou Romeo .... You Better post this Ollie :-)
The names Jones, Oliver Jones Yea Blayby, go Blahby: Thats what I'm talkin' about - bitta ducking, bitta diving. Somersaulting through lighting fast closing doors, single arm pullups over electric tracks & then sitting down next to a venetian sunset with the shorter siblings: James & Tom (Thats what Ollie told me). Indiana, eat your heart out.
Nice Jeans So thats what the Chair from Malawi was from!! Also, dont even try it: Team GB came 4th in the Olympics (ahead of Aussieland) & we may not have shrimp, but we boast a national dish of Battered Fish & Chips. Oh & cant fail to notice - Nice Jeans ;-)
Place names That reminds me of another favourite of mine - Radlett (near St Albans). I always think it sounds like the name of something nasty you might find living behind your sofa.
Ooh, there's a whole family of Radletts down there! Kill them.
Ah, England.
beyond Blaby ..... I thought it wonderful that your roadsign actually reads as "end Blaby" - there may well be many locals who might agree......
Some of the place names in this part of the Midlands are wonderful and personal favourites with me have always been Kirby Muxloe and Ratby (in my youth both villages with decent pubs - ask your mum)!
I'm pleased all is well - keep on blogging!

A Lymerick Eddie and Oliver Gee,
Went on a trip to Paris
But to their dismay,
They had no where to stay,
Until they found good ol' Marie
AUTHORISED
Thanks for the great trip, and numerous memories...
(Paris is pronounced 'Par-ee')
Book You know what ? you should probably write a book about all your adventures when you get back (if you do...), it's so much fun to read your blog ! I love it !
Top Quality Another Cracker of an entry... good work. One addition would be the 'random security passport check' that the Germans happened to perform on our car, although in 18 years the Gianom's had never had their passports checked, apparently having 3 large unwashed, semi-homeless Australian vagabonds changes things a little.... Though I won't complain, another stamp in the ol' passport is always welcomed.
Sl;eepwalking Eddie I promise not to mention Eddie's sleepwalking episode to the Birkenhead locals.....on second thoughts, the local girls might find it quite sweet.....

Fingers temporarily frozen thanks to the snow in London (earliest winter snow in London since 1934 apparently) but will update soon...
